New products and brand ambassador for Kiss in the past month, huge changes but beautiful. Leona lewis kicked off the event as the new ambassador and looked stunning. After seeing all the event photo's and how products looked on fellow bloggers, I was so excited and grateful to be given the chance to review the new lashes.

These nail's are the classic french polish version, with glue adhesive for affixing to the nail. I like these french tips as they give me an amazing finish to my nail's, leaving a cleancut and professional looking manicure. I love Kiss nail's not only for there lasting power but there quality finish. The instructions are easy and there are plenty of additional nail's to replace ones nearing the end of the week that may become loose.

Kiss Gel fantasy nail's have to be some of my favourite's, due to there duel adhesive backing and glue system. This I find make's them last longer and gives a more secure feeling to my nail's. With various design's, I definitely prefer these nails to the acrylic gel's. Just because im more outgoing with experimenting and having vibrant colours and design's. 

The nail's are of a professional quality and looks like i visited a salon. Easy to apply and with a high quality. Its lasted a week so far no showing that it's breaking down. They look fresh and I would highly recommend these kit's to anyone whom wants salon quality, yet does not have access to one.

KISS is my favourite nail art/care brand. Now with care kits being released to help with issue's such as strength, cuticle care etc. It's easy now to have a full nail spa at home and im using the cuticle kit as they are in dire need of some TLC.

Easy to use remover which doesnt smell abrasive or feel harsh upon the cuticle. Really nice and the manicure stick easily remove's the hard to reach area's. 

1. - Oil: Hydrate cuticles & nails. Brush on nails and cuticles and massage in. Wash off before applying nail colour. 

The oil is lovely and really moisturises the nail and cuticle. I really do like this oil as it takes no time to apply. Afterwards my nails look healthy and they feel "softer" plus less uneven. 

1. - Balm: Condition cuticles & nails. Apply 1-2 times per day, massaging into entire nail and cuticle.

Amazing cuticle balm which is packaged within a "lip balm" casing for application. Fantastic product i can apply on the go, when my nails or cuticles are needing a perk up. A quick and easy solution is always to hand. 

I really love this kit. It is easy to use and really does make my cuticle and nail look healthier upon application. I will invest in the strengthing kit next, as my nails are a little weak from hospital. I really love how KISS are branching into all the areas of Nail care and art. 

KISS : Gel polish kit & LED Lamp

It's no secret that i love KISS Nails and there manicures. I bit my nails since i can rembember and let's be honest its not a pretty look. As i used to go to the nail salon alot and now i cant visit them, i love that i have the option of home manicure's. 

The Kiss® Everlasting Gel Polish™ French manicure set 

This kit provides a flawless, high-gloss finish that lasts up to 14 days. It includes French wraps for a perfect smile line every time. The gel polish applies like polish and dries instantly under an LED or UV lamp (sold separately). Simply apply base gel and cure for 30 seconds, apply colour gel and cure for 60 seconds, then seal with top gel and cure for 30 seconds.

A fantastic set which gives a beautiful sleek finish. The instructions are easy to follow and can either use the colours provided. There are plenty of alternative colours to choose from as a singular bottle of nail gel. Which is what i did as i wanted something a little brighter then the french manicure, so i used a colour called "Lush". A really beautiful colour and amazing when applied.

Experience : This lamp was fantastic to use. I especially liked the beep to make you aware the first 30 second's had passed. It allowed for a easy and really relaxing manicure. The lamp is small and compact, easy for storage and use if wanted travelling. 

I really love this kit and cannot wait to use and purchase more of the gel colours. It's an amazing Nail set that gives me a fantastic time to relax and clear my mind for a short while. It also gives for social time when you want friend's over to have some girly time. The acrylic gel polish is of a professional quality and looks like i visited a salon. Easy to apply, with a high quality shine and even coat of polish. Its lasted a week so far with no chipping or showing that it could be breaking down, it looks fresh as the time i applied. I would highly recommend this kit to anyone whom wants salon quality yet does not have access to one. 

KISS - Brow Kit

KISS are well known for there lashes and nail's, now they are branching into more products starting with a brows kit. I have used a few brow kits from high end to the affordable ranges. This kit looks like it's fully packed and catering for all.

They say : 

Shape, define, fill and set eyebrows to perfection. Featuring two brow powders to customize your color, stencils to assist with shaping, highlighter, and wax to tame brow hairs and keep them in place.

The kit is very well thought out. It contains a Spooly, arched brow brush with a sponge applicator. It even has a small razor and comb to tidy up any stray hair's. There are 3 shades available, 1 being a highlight and 2 being brow colours. The clear wax helps to ensure the colour stays in place. 

Perfect for travelling as it contains everything needed for perfect brows. If your new to perfecting your brows, the kit also provides stencils to use as a guide. The powders are pigmented and apply easily to the brow.  Also they are easily removable with warm water or makeup remover. 

The shades contained within the palette are, highlight is a lovely pearl shade to put on the brow bone. Then you have a brown shade with a subtle red undertone. Also along with that there is a dark shadow which is a black tone. Now i have brunette hair which is very dark so i mixed the shades together, to obtain my shade.

 I shaped my eyebrow's using the mini razor and spooky provided within the kit. Then using the shades available, using a mix of both the brown and black to define my eyebrow's. Taking the spooly to do the final comb through and blending before placing the fixing wax.  

Overall this brow kit is a really well thought out and it will last you a long time. The sponge applicator i dont feel is necessary for this kit and the angled brush could have been abit thiner. I did miss having a pair of tweezers to hand for small stubborn hairs. Its a minor flaw in the scale of things and would be good for anyone not used to using a razor. 

Kiss Acrylic Nail's

So its no secret that i love Kiss nails. I bit my nails since i can rembember and now i finally have growth, as let's be honest its not a pretty look. Now as i have no strength in my nails as of yet, the acrylic nails by kiss are perfect to protect and preserve my progress. As trust me an acrylic nail is not a nice thing to chomp on as your daydreaming. Also disclaimer #donttrythat folks, just my experience in life.

We start as with all nails by preparing fully, so remove any nail varnish and if you can buff your cuticles. This job makes me a little jumpy as in nails salons ive had my cuticles ripped to shreads so now i do my own nails. Honestly they last me because i do follow and add my own steps to my nails to make them last.

Ive had so many people ask me how do i make home kit nails last and its simple, judge your nails condition. If you have super short nails the you may need the glue version rather then adhesive backs. Again if you have some length get the appropriate size and adhesive needed. The beauty of Kiss kits is that its all supplied. 

Once your nails are prepped and bone dry, size each nail before you attemt to glue them. I set mine on the table working from pinky finger to thumb laid out. 

Tips : Always work from pinky to thumb and apply thumbs when all others are glued firmly. Also glue your non-dominant hand first especially if your not used to doing activities with Acrylic nails. 

Application : 

Take the nails and place them acrylic side down. (Its easier to pick them up and work quicker with the glue).  Open the glue and work on one nail at a time, firstly apply glue to the nail bed. Then apply glue to the bottom third of your acrylic nail. 

Now get your acrylic and place the tip on your cuticle, from there place it down so all air gets removed and the surface areas fully adhere together.  Now you just apply all the nails and don't be too heavy handed on the glue. You should now have beautiful nails. 

I love my Kiss nails and i admit my thumbs can come off but these nails are much shorter then the others. So the less nail space the likely hood is one will ping off but the glue and spare nails make an easy fix up. I would say dont go for the longest if your nails are super short, as with all things you start small then build up. Then you will have a wonderful set of nails and foundation to work on.

Kiss - Gel Fantasy nail's

So Kiss have a new set of nail's available for your use. The gel fantasy nail's are acrylic in feel and appearance. I really like this version of the nail's released, they are comfortable plus affix securely.

Preparation: 

Clean with nail polish remover and wash hands soap. Select a nail for each finger and set aside in order. 

Adhesive Tab Application 

Select adhesive tab that coordinates with selected nail size & peel off sheet. Apply adhesive tab to natural nail, press & smooth then peel off film. Align to cuticle and press down firmly.

Glue Application:

- Apply glue to back of nail

- Apply glue to natural nail

- Align with cuticle, gently press & hold 5 seconds.

Expert Tip: 

- Press down several times 

- Avoid contact with water for the first hour. 

Removal: 

- Trim & file surface to disrupt protective top coat. 

- Soak in Kiss Artificial Nail Remover (Acetone remover until soft). 

- Wipe off softened nails & glue. 

**NB : Do not force or pull nails off.**

I really found these nail's easy to apply and the instructions are laid out to obtain maximum result's. Firstly making sure my nails were clean i then selected the sizes needed for each nail. This make's it easier then trying to find one as your juggling glue and other nail's drying.  So the glue is really strong and adhere's the nails together with such a bond, be careful not to get any on your skin. So i applied a layer of glue to my nail and also to the edge of the nail itself, so there is no gap at the top when you press it down. It takes a good 40-60 for a sticky bond to form, i held mine in place for a minute to ensure security. Once they are stuck down then they are not moving at all.  

I really would use these nail's again as i think they are high quality and give me a fantastic finish.

Above are my nails after i have applied the Kiss gel fantasy, they are beautiful and i feel confident wearing them. Apologies for my nails condition but i was only just released from hospital after needing some treatment. So they need some TLC in the coming weeks. 

Kiss lashes : Double pack "Wink" review

So Kiss lashes are not new to me and I've used the single packs before. They are ideal for beginners learning the art of lash application. I was kindly sent a double pack to review. 

They say ; 

Made with premium quality, natural hair these lashes are lightweight and reusable; add them to your everyday beauty regimen. The enclosed applicator makes them so easy to put on and this convenient double-pack is added value for the Lashionista!  

So this double pack comes with applicators, which do assist in really pressing that fiddly inner corner down. I have shakey hands so this really does help in maintaining the lash in place. Also with getting it as close as possible to the lash line.  The glue included also still changes colour to help you gage the application. If you need longer to place your lashes then this is helpful and also gives you a idea of when to apply. When they are at there most tacky you can apply then adjust. Which is a bonus for me as I can't apply lashes under pressure, also find waiting for glue to become tacky tedious. 

This double pack is also longer lashes so I did have to cut mine back. As they hit my glasses and looked un-natural. So a little trim was all they needed and the length is perfect. If you want long lashes for a night out, then the double pack can serve as a day and night pairs. So all in all this is a brand I still love and helped me in my lashes journey. I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to perfect there skill and have comfy lashes. Also they are so comfy and the right band size, you won't even notice they are on.
