Dr Organic - Moroccan Argan Oil Restoritive Treatment Conditioner

So Dr organics is a range of products produced with nature in mind and promotion of using natural to combat certain problem areas. Now mine being dry hair and i tend to use a lot of masks and treatments to try to enrich and moisturise my hair.

More then ever they only do the job short term or i will not notice any difference at all.

I used the Dr Organic restorative treatment to try to combat this issue, On looking at the product, it is packaged well and comes with relevant and concise product information.

Its a deep tub that has alot of product to help condition the hair.

Its a thick cream based conditioner with a spicy aroma which resembles a cinnamon base tone and almost like christmas. Its not a smell i expected as being a conditioner you assume it will be girly and sickly sweet. This is for the woman whom wants to have a change from that.

So you dampen the hair and then apply the product, Now i used a spritz bottle as i dont like to take these tubs in the shower as i find they then will get water in the rest of the tub,As im trying to remove the product with my hand in the shower. So maybe a tub is not best when your already in the shower or bath, a bottle maybe a better system of delivery.

So the thick and really luscious cream is presented in the tub, i do like the fact the lid has a hinge so can be easily replaced. The product i rubbed between my hands and then applied to my hair. Its then left on for 5 minutes (personally i like to leave mine on a little longer) Now i took a fair amount out on each application and it really goes along way. I would say I've noticed the hair near my roots is looking better conditioned and feels better as does my scalp which I've been having trouble with lately being dry as it does in winter, just one of them thing my skin/scalp does silly things in winter.
The ends are taking there time this could be that they may need a good touch up and a snip.I really think that the Argan oil based system does indeed improve the condition of hair. Its not prevented me needing products to stop frizz and styling as there is no way I could not use them without my hair ending up in a frizzy tangled mess.
I must say the smell of this product with it being more tinted spicy has made me not love it, As a mask its good and does nourish the hair. Its not a miracle product but it certainly has some benefits to being used if your hair needs conditioning. My hair has felt softer and looks conditioned. However i still need serums to prevent frizz. I do also think that the packaging needs to be improved.

Have you tried any of the Dr Organics range ? Does natural based products appeal to you more then the brand leaders ?

  3. I have never used this brand, but I love any product that is all natural. I agree with you about tubs in the shower, so annoying as water always gets in. My soap and glory sugar scrub is the only tub i usually have in the shower and no matter what I do I end up with a puddle in it every time I use it!
