Glossybox 2nd birthday box

So happy 2nd Birthday Glossybox !!!

So with Glossybox being in its second year i thought maybe it would be something special and boy i was not wrong. They have given us ups and downs through the 2 years but overall they still deliver samples to us subscribers with gusto and effort, some months are better then others as too are some boxes but i must say the effort is appreciated so happy birthday and long may the pink box of happy (as i call it) continue.

So we all know the theme to this month and was a pretty insert with balloons and happy vibes all around.

The Contents

  • Givenchy - Noir couture mascara
  • Caudalie - Divine Oil
  • Beautiful movements cosmetics - Prime and create mixing medium
  • Nails inc - Portabello
  • Premae - Harmony balm
Extra gift of Glossybox Emery boards

Nails inc polish and extra glossybox gift

Was really happy to see nails inc polish again as i was after a coral colour for the summer and this portabello is a orange toned coral colour which i think will give a really great mid-tone between the neon and coral trends this season.

Glossybox emery boards as an extra gift were lovely and super cute with the wrapping, nice handbag staple.

 Givenchy - Noir couture mascara

Now this sample i was super impressed with as this is high end to its best, the last thing anyone wants is to buy a high end mascara and hate it. So with this new innovative brush which looks very interesting, plus I've never tried a Givenchy cosmetic. So glossybox hit the nail on the head with this product.

Beautiful movements - Prime and create mixing medium

Now this is a brand I've not heard of and was previously BM beauty then former pussycat doll (from my understanding) now has rebranded and Beautiful movements cosmetics is now whats in its place. This is the most interesting product and i must admit the one I'm dying to crack open and use. As I've counted 4 possible uses for this product.
Primer
Foundation additive for airbrush effect
Makes powder blush and bronzers to cream based tints
Makes eyeshadow pigments into liquid eyeliners

So thats a lot of use for one product and I'm guessing from the texture and look its a silicone based product so i need to test and investigate. I will be doing a look book post with this product to see the finish on each particular claim. Plus this will be fantastic if it works as in winter when powders can be drying and caked looking to turn into cream tints will really help with application and finished results.

Caudalie - Divine oil

Now im thinking the price maybe wrong on the information leaflet as to the full size but I'm loving this sample as its huge for starters being Caudalie and we all need some divinity in our beauty lives.
Multi-use product again for hair, skin, nails and face plus can be added to the bath as well or for massaging. So this again is like heaven in a jar for me as i get dry areas. So this oil infused with grape and sesame to name a few ingredients is natural and just again big thumbs up from me.

Premae - Harmony balm

This is not a product I've heard of and not even the brand so its a new find for me which is always great as the point of glossybox is to find gems you may not come across in everyday shopping or browsing.
Infused with Aloe vera butter, again can be used as a primer and especially good for acne prone as contains natural antiseptic lemongrass oil. Also says can help reduce oil in the skin so I'm not too sure how good this would be for dry skins and maybe more suited for oily. Will need to do more reading on this products website. Again nice sized sample and really will try to see how it fits with my skincare.

So im really impressed and happy with my Glossybox this month, i think they really did offer some high end quality products in this box which I'm excited to try. So happy 2nd birthday and long may Glossybox continue.

What were the contents of your glossybox ?

    1. Good sharing, Glossybox and Memebox are one of the Korea’s greatest beauty ongoing services, box way up about several to six cosmetic goods or biological samples and ship those to subscribers each month. Read more at:

  2. You got the same bits as me. I think you might be right about the price of the oil looking at it now! I was super pleased with my box (apart from the teeny tiny mascara!)
