HealGel - Face

So the lovely people from HealGel sent me a bottle of there Face Serum for review. HealGel was compleatly new to me until I saw a review on Pixiwoo. Highly recommended to dry skins when the weather goes cold and most damage is done. It will benefit everyone whom uses it, even after a facial it's the ideal way to get moisture in to the skin.

They say
-- HealGel Face is an exceptional anti-ageing formula designed to smooth, firm and replenish to give instantly plumper, revitalised looking skin.
-- This step-changing complex acts like HealGel Intensive to rescue unhappy skin, but then takes its transformative effect to the next level.  Arnica and Madecassoside are suspended in liposomes with powerful peptides and biodynes to initiate a uniquely soothing and collagen boosting process.  HealGel Face also contains a unique blend of Omega Oils to replenish dehydrated skin and restore elasticity.  To this another vital dimension is added; a powerful three part hyaluronic acid complex provides a plumping and tightening effect.

All the HealGel products ive found are light weight, very quickly absorbed into the skin plus lightly scented with natural oils. There is a slight difference with this formula as it's a mix of gel with a cream. It looks like a cream but spreads like a serum. I had worried, as I do love the other products so much because of there gel forumla. However this does not disappoint and I used this regularly. I admit I was glad it was in my bag when I was in hospital. My skin and winter do not mix and dryness is my main enemy.

So one pump is sufficient to apply to all areas of the face. As it's being massaged into the skin, the warmth makes it disperse with ease. To say that HealGel has compleatly given me confidence, in my winter skin is an understatement. If you suffer dry patches in areas that can be stubborn, then this may assist you. It's quite an investment but I will be saving to repurchase when I can, as I have total faith in the products.

It lasts a long time (obviously dependent on your use) when used in the morning and evening. The smell for a natural product is not overpowering and disperses quickly. The only scent left was reminant on my hands after I massaged it into my face. I would advise a good massage into the skin, really reach those areas that the may get missed. Especially area's round the nose, cheeks,
corners of the lips and by the ears.

With the plumping aspect of the product this defiantly does become noticeable. Now I can't say if its because I massage in the evening with it and just apply in the morning. However I've noticed that my skin has been complimented vastly. My main area I noticed was my mouth, now I was very aware of fine lines forming. I had so much trouble with lipsticks beginning to bleed, now they dont do this as before. So if that's down to my hydration being optimised, or my skin improving then another bonus.

HealGel without a doubt is my holy grail product now and yes price wise it's higher end. However if you could afford one then in a quick run down, they all offer hydration but additional benfits of ;

  -Intensive intense hydrator & restore
  -Face offers anti-aging & plumping
   -Eye will rejuvenate & awaken

So in my opinion which ever suits your need then its a worthwhile product to have. I know I will have to save for my next purchase, as I really want to have intensive in my daily regime.

So thank you HealGel for introducing me to your products this year. I've felt like this winter has been my most confident within my skin. So it's priceless when you feel that way, against the cost of the actual product.

Wishing all the staff at HealGel an amazing Christmas and New year.

Have you tried HealGel ?

HealGel - Eyes serum

Okay dokey, so I've had the most amazing opportunity to review HealGel and wow I just want to say a massive thank you to them.

They say
HealGel Eye is an advanced corrective formula designed to condition and lift the delicate eye area HealGel Eye contains Arnica and Madecassoside which are suspended in liposomes with powerful peptides and biodynes to initiate a uniquely soothing and collagen boosting process.  Sluggish micro-circulation is stimulated and irritation is soothed.  In addition, HealGel Eye contains a duel action hyaluronic acid complex that locks moisture deeper into the skin and firms the eye contours.  The effect is to soften the appearance of fine lines, even skin tone and improve the elasticity of the skin through intense hydration.  Light diffusers in the gel further improves sallow areas for a brightening and smoothing effect.

This serum is set for the eye area and its the same gel consistency and also slight smell of lavender to me but then disapates on absorption. It's quick absorbing, cooling and wow amazingly for a serum this actually works. (For me)

Now I have the most unforgivable bags as I'm a insomniac and can't sleep so I have periods where my anaemia will knock me side wards then my insomnia will be like "no you shan't sleep", joys of womanhood right lol
So to say I conceal within an inch of my faces life is the biggest statement of my life. This serum I read was to ease and also remove the trace or calm fine lines and just make me look human. All I wanted and expected.

Now honestly my routines not changed and my eyes have, I've noticed I have not concealed as much over the period if time I have used the serum. I use it at night as a lovely cooler for my eyes as they dehydrate from lack of sleep and now its getting colder. So preventative measures. Also the morning this gives your eyes such a zing even if I've not slept it eases the hurt as insomnia fellowers will know the "eye hurt" come lunch.

For me its worked, I still have one line that honestly we all have and unless its botoxed (never would I allow a needle in my face, needle phob lol) or I received a face lift in my house. Again not likely, this line is a age line and I can't turn the clock. My puffiness, finer lines etc have gone. I have one line which is not even worth concealing as my foundation is pretty much polyfiller so once that's on, I'm astounded. I actually out of the whole range was most interested and the most sceptical about as well all serums claim to work but this actually did.

Which kinda is a major dampened on my concealer review lol but I'm sure they will be needed when this runs out as it goes very far. That's one thing I do love is its expensive but the product doesn't require you excessively pump and feel like you didn't get your monies worth.

However it's not in my price bracket which with Christmas and winter coming I wish it was as well I would buy this in a heartbeat to set me for the cold months ahead. So dry skin sufferers if you get a chance to try HealGel then please do as its amazing and my skin is really loving it.

Natural and just honestly if I hadn't seen Pixiwoo then I would never have known.

HealGel - Intensive (Smooth, Repair and protect)

I first heard about HealGel from the Pixiwoo sisters whom used it in the winter when there skin was dry. Which is what happens to me, so I was so happy to get a chance to review HealGel.

About HealGel -
The HealGel skin care range was created by a team of the world’s finest plastic and cosmetic surgeons, with the help of a renowned dermatological biochemist and a well-known actor, to provide genuinely effective treatments for all skin types
HealGel is an aqueous gel, bringing together in one formula the best active ingredients to soothe, repair and protect your skin.  The advanced skin rescue formula was designed by a team of the world's leading plastic surgeons and a renowned dermatological biochemist.  They pooled their cutting edge research to provide peerless base-layer treatment for all skin types. It is cleverly designed; the nano-technological elements (liposomes containing the key ingredients) deliver predictably to the depth of the skin where they are needed most. It is easy to use, being light, non-greasy and delicately fragranced.  It provides a perfect primer for any make-up applied, and you only need to use it sparingly.
HealGel.  Impeccable pedigree, remarkable results.

Its non greasy gel and absorbs very easily, so use this sparingly it will spread really well onto the skin surface.
Plus it's cooling to use in these hot summer days, most creams are too heavy and just leave you melting. HealGel intensive is perfect for these hot days.

So as you can see the Gel above and whats it looks like. It has a slight scent of lavender but nothing you will notice after its dried in. I exfoliate each night between my clarisonic, or a gentle face wash exfoliate.

So this is very nice after that exoliation and feels refreshing also. It's says apply 2-3 times a day and I would moisturise that amount on a days where its hotter or during the winter too. This review I have done the morning and night routine. As that's when mostly all women would do skincare routines.

I must say this kept my cheeks pert (it has a slight tightening feeling on application),defiantly very hydrating against the dry areas, which I no longer have. My T-zone also goes a bit dry in summer season, this has kept me amazingly at a normal skin type.(However I still use normal/dry skin aimed items)
This is going to be a must have for me in winter when I hydrate before applying primer, then at night time when I'm moisturising.

You maybe thinking its only 30mls and alot for skincare. You need 2 plumps to do your face, so it will last you a great length of time length of time.
It's shocked me having seen what this product can do and has taken me quite by surprise. This is a lovely and product I would purchase again. Especially for winter as I struggle to cover my dry areas, so hopefully HealGel will improve and hydrate my skin enough so my makeup's not as heavy come winter.

Thank you HealGel and I'm extremely impressed.

Where have i been ?

Many of us use makeup as we have a passion or or it is nessesity of our daily life. For me it is a mixture of things. It is one of those ...
