Ok so Debenhams started doing this amazing thing, or something I've just cottoned on to lol. Now if you sign up for the email on the site they will occasionally send you an email if you purchase any 2 skincare or makeup products, there will be a code for up to 7 samples. Now these are not sachets (2 or 3 will be but you get usually a handful of them to trial) this last offer i bought 2 St tropez glove packs and was on sale so my total spend was £4.88 with free delivery.
So this months goody sample bag had a lot of aftershave samples which was brill for my hubby. The one sample i wanted was the Guerlain new mascara sample and its a decent handbag size. Sanctuary, St Tropez gradual tan and new Bare minerals eye cream. As you can see in the picture the samples are not tiny and will be enough to give you a brilliant idea if you like it. Now with a product like makeup any sample size to me is welcome as i want to know "will this break me out or is it a great pigment etc ? " So im really happy to purchase 2 packets of St tropes gloves for this offer, also there is no spend limit to grab a sample goody bag, however if you see the email be quick as last month ran out as the new Elemis cleanser a 20g pot ... i kid you not was included.
So on the topic of samples i was so surprised as i subscribe to magazines, its cheaper for starter and i dont have to hunt down a sample if its included. Do check if they include samples in the magazine you subscribe to though. Im subscribed and know Glamour, red and InStyle do include them.
This month as a thank-you all Red subscribers got this amazing Chanel sample. It was a lovely gift as it came in packaging that i was reminded of a palette. So if you can get to a Chanel counter to grab a sample i would as they are decent sized 10ml tubes and beautiful.
Is anyone else grabbing the Debenhams Goody bags ?

DeleteWow! Those goodie bag samples are amazing! I've signed myself up to the Debenhams email list! :)
ReplyDeletefabby. really worth getting esp for just a £5 outlay
DeleteThanks so much for this, I had no idea! I know Estee Lauder send samples when you buy from them but other than that, I think it's more of an American thing.
ReplyDeleteI know i wish the UK market would see that sending samples would increase revenue as we cant afford to spend for a whole size if it breaks us out.
DeleteOhh I didn't know this!
