Stargazer was established in 1978 with the opening of a stall in the Great Gear Market on the Kings Road London. Kings Road was the centre of the punk fashion in London at the time, and it was this attitude towards colour and outrage that moulded many of the company’s ideas behind the ranges we produce. We are still based in the UK.

Wet Cover colour is a Theatrical make up that is applied with water. The strong colour pigment is very long lasting Theatrical quality colour for hold under hot lights and difficult situations. The colours can be blended together for further shades is ideal for flat areas and is also suitable for all styles of body and face painting.

These colours are water activated body paint. I picked these colours as i have a Harley Quinn and Enchantress look planned. 

Tip : Roll the brush so the excess water comes out in the pan and wont water down your opaqueness. 

I primed and moisturised my face as normal and let them dry before application. You can use them with makeup brushes, they will wash clean just as easily. So i got my brush slightly wet and then mix within the pan to get an opaque colour. Then i took the paint and brushed it on, I used a makeup sponge to blend the lines and also give the dry raised skin texture. (Harley Quinn has bleached her skin to be like her love Joker "Mr J", so i imagined it would be dry and almost paint peel like.)  

I used half the pan of Wet colour in white to obtain this effect, by stippling the sponge over the drying paint. It takes a few minutes to dry, also the paint in the pan dries so keep the brush moving. Also add more water and keep your brush wet.  I have Red, Pink, Black & White. I used small artists brushes to do detail work. I swapped the Red for an eyeshadow as it was coming up more of a russet red then a blood red. Harley Quinn is very much blood red and using the black for detailing was very easy. 

I found the Wet colours very easy to use and whilst this look took me a while to plan and do, i think the time taken gave me a really good result. I think the wet colours are very multifunctional in there ability to be mixed and the vast selection. I only need 4 shades to do looks which are very different, Harley Quinn has had many different looks and i really hope to do most of them. The above is inspired from the new Suicide squad movie cast picture. I am loving the more artistic side of this makeup and cant wait to experiment some more.

So it comes packaged in a lovely black tissue paper with a ribbon printed with the name, plus bowed on top. So professional and high end looking. I was really impressed with the presentation. Even the box is beautiful, a light beige with a rose gold embossing of the name and edges. It would be a lovely welcome to any dresser and a real high end look about it. A lot of thought has gone into the look of this cream to show it to its maximum appeal to a woman choosing a new cream.

The cream is rich and has a whipped texture about it, smelling of oranges but a light fragrance.

Absorbs really nicely and is a perfect daily moisturiser which i applied to my face, neck in the morning. It was such a nice scent to have on during the day and will be lovely to go with the spring and summer scents that many women wear to go with the passing seasons.

It is a perfect moisturiser can be used as a primer if your looking for a more natural based and steering away from silicones. Plus with it being full of peptides and hydrating properties, it does leave the skin feeling soft and makeup does sit nicely on-top with no feeling later on that it is moving or drying out the skin.

 I have used this as a base and it was more comfortable plus did offer that protection i look for in a primer without blocking my pores. Also the whipped texture has meant its so light that the cream soaks in so nicely, leaving no residues or sticky feeling.

Ive really enjoyed using this moisturiser, so much so that i wanted to apply it all over my body and even used it on occasion to my hands as it left my face feeling so nice. I would purchase this again as i would try other areas of the range as they are presented beautifully as is it encouraging to have a brand thats so naturally sourced.

Aurelia's brand also provides itself on the use of science within the skincare, making sure that the creams include ingredients that not only help maintain the skin but also help the vital collagen needed in repairing damage done through daily activities. On a whole the Daily moisturiser is a joy to use with its orange scented, lightly whipped formula. Making its luscious in application and absorption into the skin, Its presented beautifully as if a high end skincare brand and given the same care, attention and love. Without all the nasty ingredients some of these brands carry, this company is ethical and you can be sure that the skincare range is naturally sourced. You can smell in the cream the mandarin and see the clean and hydrating effect it will have when you use this in the morning. It was lovely to use under my makeup and left me feeling hydrated and protected during the day. I cannot wait to purchase more in the range after being given the wonderful opportunity to review this cream by Aurelia and look forward to trying the other products in the range.
