Ere Perez - Makeup line

Finally Ere Perez has arrived to the UK, released by Natralismo for purchase. Naturally sourced and produced makeup. Im so excited to share this brand with you on my blog, so it will be a more in-depth review. 

About :

When I was a little girl growing up in Mexico, I loved playing with makeup. My mum used to give me beetroot to use as lipstick and blusher, the future inspiration for my Beautiful Beetroot Cheek & Lip Tint.

My maternal grandfather a traditional medicine man using locally available herbs, flowers, plants and oils. He taught the healing properties of plants and flowers. My paternal grandfather was also a biochemist, I had the benefit of the scientific perspective. I was inspired to work on my idea for a natural makeup range that would nourish, enhance and enable women to feel beautiful from the inside out. In 2004 my first product, the Natural Almond Oil Mascara was born. It’s being thoughtful and considerate of other people, making the most of our natural beauty and recognising our inner strength. 

- Cheek & Lip Tint in Joy 

Beautiful beetroot cheek tint – a natural stain for long-lasting cherry red colour. With rosehip extract and organic beetroot pigments, it quickly creates flushed-looking, rosy cheeks and that touch of colour to brighten your skin. A little goes a long way, so use sparingly for softer colour or apply freely for strong intense red if desired. Roll-on, easy to use and waterproof. 

- Natural Cheek Tints

1. After applying your makeup or to a clean face, apply this product to cheeks for the same effect of a blush/stain. 

2. Simply roll on, a little at a time and then rub in with fingers until the colour blends to a natural hue.

3. For lips, apply as you would a gloss and also rub in to blend.

This cheek and lip stain is easily applied with the a rollerball system. (Ive never seen this method to apply) However it's easy and effective for both lips and cheeks. As the formula is of a liquid slightly gel formation, making for easy application on the lips and cheeks. 

Upon the lips the stain feel's comfortable they arent drying like most. 

Versatile Vanilla Highlighter Sun Halo

Sun Halo will gently illuminate the skin with a soft golden glow. Perfect for all skin tones, the new golden shade gives a sun-kissed look to fair skins and for highlighting already tanned and olive or darker tones.

Its gorgeously soft, shimmery and creamy formula that is really easy to apply with the fingertips. Perfect for brightening up and awakening tired eyes before or after a big night out, it instantly softens and brightens the skin.

Now when i saw this highlight my first impression was it was going to be too dark for my skintone. Look's however are decieving as this can be used as a cream eyeshadow also. As the above swatches show the cream shadow form is so pigmented and as a highlight blended gives this rich golden tone. Perfect for upcoming summer and to give a luminous glow. The formula is a nice cream consistancy but more a thick balm, which allows for just enough product to be applied. It's a beautiful product and im defiantly purchasing the additional shade. 

- Natural Almond Oil Mascara

Smudge-proof, water resistant and made with the highest quality ingredients. Super organic almond oil strengthens and lengthens lashes, prevents lashes from falling out and stimulates growth with conditioning vitamin E. Perfect for sensitive eyes and contact lenses. Be kind to your eyes and choose this all-natural mascara with no chemicals or synthetic ingredients. 

- Natural Mascara's

1. Easy to use with a bendable brush for expert application. Always apply as the last step in your makeup routine.

2. Simply dip wand into container, wipe excess mascara on the rim and apply in upward strokes to the underside of your lashes. Apply several layers to build colour on top lashes, and a single layer to bottom. 

3. Apply to eyebrows to shape them in upwards motions, then straighten out the top line.

4. Remove mascara with sweet almond oil.

This mascara is well presented and the brush goes from a thin to thicker wand width. This aids with application as the thin end can coat the thinner lashes, the rest of the brush coats your lashes really well. Its a drier formula which means it adheres well to the lash and gives a fantastic pigmented coat of mascara. Really lovely mascara that didnt clump etc, seperated my lashes and gave me a lovely natural look.

- LookBook 

This look includes me using the highlight as a base for my eyeshadow and also shows two coats of mascara applied. I love the cheek/lip tint as it is not drying and easily can be blended out. I love the look the highlight especially allowed me to create, it was perfect for eyeshadow as the slight tackiness held the shadow as I packed it on for blending.

The mascara to finish off the look just brought it all together. I love these products and im excited to purchase more, as the quality and natural product choice is fantastic.

From placing the order to arrival was a quick a easy process. I kindly was sent a Lip Balm and some Sugar scrub scent's.

-  Lip balm -

SODA & Co Lip Balm with Jojoba will soften and revive lips with sweet and uplifting natural scents. 

~ Pink lemonade ~ 

Presented in a silver tin with beautifully clear labelling. Perfect for any handbag, especially with winter approaching. A balm which you apply with your finger's heat. 

The scent of the balm is delightful, i could firstly smell a rich vanilla cake which would then something fruity entwined. Its hard not to get the urge to eat then balm.

Performance wise this balm :

- doesn't leave a heavy feeling

- Smell is divine 

- Lips feel hydrated for days

- Doesnt need to be constantly applied

- Well packaged 

- No greasey feeling like some balms, which make you want to wipe excess away. 

~ Sugar scrub

~ Orange Crush ~ 

Not only will it leave your skin smelling sweet - the zesty orange scent will be sure to brighten your day. Is the Quote used to describe Orange Crush and i could not agree more. The smell of orange hits you immediately and i find as a scrub smelling so good makes me want to really relax within the shower. 

~ Pink lemonade ~ 

The fun, fresh & enticing scent of pink lemonade is only one of the benefits of this sugary little gem. The scrubs clean the skin without being too harsh, making it gentle enough for everyday use.

I really love these sugar scrubs, especially the Orange scent. It makes your skin feel cleaner then ever, as the sugar allows you to put as much or as little on.  Depending on your preference. 

I like the feeling of a scrub with my as it does give me better absorbtion, for my serums and moisturisers.NB : I would advise if you have any additional scrubs, not expose them to steam within the bathroom. As it can melt the sugar within the scrub. If this happens i just placed in a cool area or fridge to cool it back down.

Now with winter about to well and truly set in. My skincare regime will be upped a few notches. Using a hydration mist during the day. I mainly try to use naturally made products, for there natural healing benefits. So orange blossom toner from Pure & light sounded beautiful.

So after reading about Pure & light with the natural properties of this toner, i was more then excited to try it. I love fruity scents, i find floral can be overpowering. The product packaging is a impressive   chrome tube with spray mechanism. (Unfortunately my camera would not take a picture, without a substantial flashback)

So as you can see above the actual product. 

It does indeed have a orange blossom scent and with it being the blossom, there is a small hint of floral. However not enough that i would say i was put off. The spray delivers a equal and fine mist onto the face. Its got a refreshing and light feeling, which i can see being a lovely calming product for summer too. Especially within the chrome packaging to chill it lightly for an even more refreshing touch. Plus it certainly removed dry skin upon cleansing and any time your skin feels a little muggy. I also found that it was perfect for nighttime, as it has a little oil that absorbs into the skin well. As for me some nights i find in winter using a serum then moisturiser can feel heavy. So on a night where i want a light regime, with this and a tiny amount of serum is perfect. 

So if your after naturally made products for your skincare regime, also want a light easy to apply mist. This is perfect and leaves your skin feeling refeshed and nourished. Its brilliant for waking up tired skin in the morning too and smells amazing. I am seeing how my skin is improving more, using a naturally made and sourced product. So im happy that i can gain results and your never to young to start protecting your skin.

Toning body Shimmer

Bottle packaged with pump, to dispense a very airy and whipped consistency. On initial inspection, a golden shimmer based cream is what you see. On application into the skin you'll find a little goes a long way. The amount you apply can be light for a hint of a glow or apply heavier for that golden dewy sheen. 

The golden shimmer is so versitile, to be applied to the neck, body etc. Any area thats highlighted will become beautifully defined, especially the decleotage area. This product would look amazing with a tan. You could use to make skin look less dull, if you'd like a little life added to your complexion. The uses are endless. It does also include a marine extract to help with toning of the skin. 

So in conclusion, I can say the new Nourish addition is beautiful. This is the perfect product,for adding some beautiful contours to the skin. It's micro-shimmers do not irritate and it absorbs very well. You only need a little product so this will last a fair while. 

Lily lolo - New natural eyeliner

I really enjoy Lily lolo natural makeup. There shimmer strips are perfect, to give a glow over spring into summer. So now I'm going to try the new Natural Eyeliner in black.

So my usual liner very soft and pigmented,plus not harsh on my eyes. I wasn't expecting this liner to perform as well. Initially on swatching, it was a creamy plus pigmented liner. Il admit i was shocked. Also my eyes were not watery from long use, so it is very good if your eyes become sensitive.I was pleased that there is a natural liner available. 

As the above shows the liner is pigmented and creamy. This upon application is the same, it's smooth and rich in colour. Highly versatile so it can be used in the waterline, plus smoked out on the last line. The uses are endless. When I applied in each area (waterline, lash line, smudge work) it didn't pull or catch my eye. Easily sharpened to get precise edge. On the waterline, it's extremely pigmented plus so creamy to apply. I really enjoyed using this product. I would repurchase due to the natural ingredients. The Shea butter made this liner lovely to use. It would be lovely to smoke out in the crease, to do a dramatic look. I can't wait to try more with Lily lolo products. Especially if this is the quality through the whole range. 

As you can see the lash line was easily applied.(there is a gap to show, how easy it applies with no smudges or pulling). Also within the waterline it's extremely

Pigmented, with no signs of moving once applied. Beautiful natural liner.

Sibu Beauty maybe new to a lot of UK consumers. Made with Sea buckthorn a natural ingredient with many properties, I was kindly sent the facial cream to try. 

So it's main properties are

This nutrient-infused facial cream is ideal for daily use, with a light citrus scent and non-greasy feel. 

This cream is packaged with a simple white box embossed with the logo. Its in a frosted glass bottle but also has a lock within the pump. So no leaks when travelling. So I have Normal to Dry skin and when winter hits is when I notice this. When I read about the properties of the sea buckthorn berry I was intrigued.

So apologies for the light the weather in the UK is grim and trying to photograph glass or an box is quite a task, especially with a flash.

 Aimed towards helping all skin types by offering a day cream to help maintain healthy skin and keep fine lines at bay.  So with winter coming and I like to have a cream with me at all times so i can moisturise regularly. Hoping to gain the upper hand and moisturise my skin sufficiently, as It helps to keep a good routine.

 Then hopefully not need to much coverage. So as with every year passing, i am noticing changes to my face. This is why I encourage having a skincare routine too women of all ages. Even if your in your early 20's, as trust me it takes more time  to fill in the lines and dry skin later in life. I wish I had started earlier on to keep my skin healthier. 

Now whilst i haven't seen much difference to my face in terms of lines, I do like that its a really good as an aid to hydration. This doesn't sit on the skin and cause it not the breathe. It's a light, durable and most of all absorbs quickly. I only required 2 pumps to cover my whole face, which was very good as the warmth disperses it evenly. I wish other creams would do this and be value for money. The colour of the cream is a light peach/ orangy to the eye with a light citrus almost peach/tangerine scent. I love this scent its so subtle and not overwhelming. Very natural and pleasant to which I always had it in my bag for days I could feel my cheeks and eyes suffering, it also moisturises the hands very well when applying. 

I have noticed that the damage in my hands is getting better, as I have loads of "broken" veins from being stabbed by dr's needles for blood tests. Half a pump rubbed in just makes them more soft and also the skin less thin looking. So I'm happy the Omega 7 rich cream could help with healing naturally, its not a quick fix but its a lovely skincare item.

Also its fair-trade where the workers whom grow and pick this wonderful sea buckthorn earn during the harvest period. They maintain it as a sustainable resource which grows high in the mountains of Tibet. This fair trade relationship ensures the villagers safe working comditions and also offer fair wages. This money to which the whole family can work towards saving, ensures that the winter passes and has kept the next generation safe and healthy for the next harvest. It has been so successful that each harvest brings a bigger wage and more resources to the people in the Himalayan mountains.

Okay so wipes, guilty I'm a wipe hoarder. I will stock basic wipes for my makeup drawer to use during application and then use cotton with a cleanser and my clarisonic on those days. (Dont use my clarisonic daily).

 I was sent the Amie skincare wipes to try. Now I will say I've been so impressed with Amie I really do think its so undervalued as a brand. It's remarkable for sensitive skin and dry skin. Plus natural and that's the catch for me when I'm cleaning my skin I like to use natural, as it makes no sense to me to after using makeup which has agents in it to then use a non natural skincare.  I know not everyone shares that view but I used one product a whole back so steeped in alcohol I could smell it on opening and application it near off burnt my skin and I was lucky to remove it quick and inform the company of this. 

So these wipes are like a dream to me for makeup removal as they are a texture perfect to really get to every contour of the face. Also moist enough to clean without causing irritation to the eyes or make you feel your skins in need of some dry time. They smell amazing and I love pomegranate so I really do think its been the main factor as they are so fresh. Plus one wipe just gets every bit off and when you have 25 your aware of that fact. These are not your normal baby wipe they are intended for a purpose and a honestly savour these like its my brush hitting pan on a high end powder or foundation. Same feeling to me that wipes can be precious but when they feel so good I wish I could buy them in massive boxes like a baby wipe. As I would in a heartbeat trade cotton for these after a heavy makeup routine.

Now on looking I was expecting these to be in line with the competitors, Amie still amazes me that I actually think I could treat myself every couple of months to a few packs, and not be guilty for the spend.
