Lola Makeup by Perse

I have come to know and see Lola makeup by pearse product's via there social media and often within beauty boxes. I will still as always give full and honest reviews to each product.

Blusher mono
Add colour to your cheeks with this soft and creamy powder that gives a velvet finish with excellent adhesion to the skin.
Micronised pigments allow you to build long-lasting colour and there is a range of shades to choose from, depending on your skin tone or the time of year. From pink to peach and warm corals, there’s a rosy cheek glow for everyone.
To use: Apply over setting powder for ease of blending or directly onto nude skin using the LOLA Blush Brush for a radiant and natural look.

This blush is very pigmented, also soft and easy to blend finely milled powder. It doesn't kick up when loading your brush so I'm not loosing any product when using  my blush. I love this shade as its subtle but gives a radiant glow.

INTENSE COLOUR LIPSTICK
This rich full coverage lipstick glides on effortlessly to give full, seductive colour in just one stroke. Ultra-rich pigments offer maximum colour impact with a sophisticated lustre and a glossy finish. The creamy texture is enriched with antioxidants and nourishing plant extracts, Vitamin C, Mango Seed Butter & Vitamin E while peptides and Hyaluronic Acid work to visibly plump, smooth, condition and volumise.

To use: Apply colour directly to the lips. Use the LOLA Lip Brush for added control and a more professional finish.
Lipstick for me can be hit or miss especially with nude shades. I was kindly sent a red with a slight undertone of raspberry. Its a rich and creamy so i would strongly recommend using a clear or similar coloured lip liner. Its a beautifully pigmented, creamy long lasting formula.

DUO KAJAL + EYELINER
The LOLA Duo Kajal + Eyeliner combines two amazing eyeliners in one handy pen. At one end an intense black Kajal and in the other, a precise liquid eyeliner in marker pen form. It’s easy to apply, dries in seconds and stays put for up to 12 hours. The intense black liner is also waterproof, crease-proof and ophthalmologist tested.

To use: Apply a thin line close to the eyelashes or draw a thicker line flicking up at the end for a more dramatic look.
The duo kohl and eyeliner i must admit first a little wary, as I've tried similar idea's from other brands. So I firstly tried the liquid liner side which is ultra pigmented, does not flake nor bleed out of the corner eye area. It gave me good control and i felt my grip was more sturdy then a smaller liquid liner pen.
The kohl side again is a sharp tip and winds up to looking like a chubby pencil, its blended amazingly for an impressive smokey eyes look.
I have loved the Blusher and the radiant glow it gives me upon application, its a definite favourite and I cannot wait to purchase more shade's. The lipstick is beautifully creamy and highly pigmented and is a stunning colour. I loved this formula of lipstick and am looking forward to seeing the other shade's available. Now whilst the Duo Kajal & Eyeliner is a thicker "pen" to hold but it does give a feeling of better control. It is pigmented and does give me a quicker flick on my cat eyes and my waterline also needed a few strokes due to the kajal being soft and easy to apply. I would also use the Kajal as a liner for my upper lid and then smoke this out when doing my smokey eye looks. So my first impressions are that I'm very impressed with the Lola Makeup. I cannot await my second review and also showcasing more looks using these Lola products.

MAC - Chris Chang

This is MAC's summer limited edition collection yet one I was highly excited for, it didnt fail to deliver. My expectations were met and the packaging is beautiful.
About : China’s most outlandish fashion designer puts an acid-soaked twist on her modern M·A·C collection, featuring a vivid kaleidoscope of cutting-edge colour, inspired by the ancient Chinese art form Kunqu. Surreal hues of Lipstick, Cream Colour Base and Eye Shadow, and uniquely designed packaging, are saturated with her signature dramatic flair.

- Lipstick in Plum princess
This is a beautiful colour and applies flawlessly to give a rich purple colour to the lips. It's perfect for summer and all the times you just want to add a little pizzaz to a look.

- Cream bases in Peony pavilion & Sockit Xiqu
These are beautiful and unlike other cream bases, super pigmented plus creamy. I really cannot wait to experiment further with them, in the form of a base for any colourful look i wish to achieve. I have so many look's planned for the next few week's, all colourfully taking on summer.

MAC - Brooke Candy collection

I admit I dont know much about Brooke candy, other then this her second MAC collection. I loved the gothic colour and packaging when I saw the pre-release and knew it had to make my collection.

Fiercely independent digital sensation Brooke Candy returns to M·A·C with her feisty colour collection uniting the past, present and future of her creative spirit. Shades for eyes, lips and nails dare you to stand up and stand out. Bold, brave, unusual, unstoppable.

* Amplified: cream finish

This heavy darkened mix of purple and black with that beautiful sheen and cream finish, well it just called to me. I love unique bold colours, this is something I love to set my looks alive. I will either have a bold lip or bold eye's, this lipstick is for that neutral natural day to bring some life to it. It's creamy, applied like a dream with maximum opaqueness. Definitely lined with a clear wax pencil to keep sharp the definition, I must admit its really a unique shade. Perfect for a dark and light ombre lip if you need dark colours to work with.

- Bronzing powder - Golden
A subtly tinted powder that gives skin sheer colour and highlights. Perfect for enhancing skin tone for a natural, sun-kissed look or accentuating a tan. Formulated to provide smooth, even application on all skin types. Unique chrome packaging featuring a graphic black splatter with Brooke Candy’s signature.

* Provides a natural, sun-kissed look
* For a wide variety of skin tones
* Dermatologist tested
* Ophthalmologist tested
* Non-acnegenic
* Apply to face using a brush as desired.
Golden is one of those shade's that always gets repromoted over and over again. Its amazing for me as im so pale, however I do feel that they need to expand to cater for all skin tones. This was the only compact available in Brooke candy collection.

I do feel they could have made a beautiful deep rich purple powder blush or a duo powder with something rich to cater for the palest of us and women of colour. Im saying that I must admit the quality is so good, I'm so tempted to purchase the lipgloss as its beautiful (I never reach for gloss) and unique.

I definitely will be purchasing the lip pencil and may obtain the gloss also. So if you love the compact and dont have golden, then its perfect for a light and not to heavy bronzer. Witching hour is unique and im so happy I was able to snap it up. I will have a look via my Instagram, showing off "witching hour" and also how subtle "Golden" as a bronzer is.

Joan Collins - Timeless beauty collection

When an Icon such as Joan collins releases a makeup line, you sit up and take notice. This iconic woman has seen hollywood through the golden era, plus know what wonder's makeup can achieve. So i jumped at the given the opportunity to review her new foundation and compact's.

About
Joan Collins Timeless Beauty is a new international luxury beauty brand, created by one of the most glamorous icons of our time.  It aims not just to inspire women, but to provide them with the tools to feel and be beautiful at any age.

Now finally, she has delved into her treasure trove of beauty knowledge to create a new line of beauty products with the aim of sharing her experience with us all and allow each woman to obtain what she dreams of: Timeless Beauty.

First base - Foundation

Is skin care in a foundation. It creates a smooth, flawless complexion with a radiant, natural finish, whilst Re-AgeTM Complex charges the skin with youthful energy, to help increase collagen levels. Light on the skin with excellent adhesion. Includes Hyaluronic Acid & UV filters. Paraben free.

My thoughts :
First base is a light weight buildable coverage foundation. Application is easy (even when using your fingers), plus leaves good distribution of product. On my face my t-zone is my problem area and I deliberately did not apply primer to see how it fared on dry area's. Whilst it was most noticeable on the bridge of my nose, it did not cake or flake anywhere else. So with a primer and my usual exfoliator this foundation would be a good wearing, reliable addition. I had a bare face to see the areas that need building up. I would just need my usual a brightening around my tired eyes. I Also felt the foundation dries down to give a matte finish. Overall I really like this foundation for light to medium coverage and will be using this in the summer when my skin is normal with no dry areas.

Powder & Lipstick duo

Pressed Powder and a Divine Lipstick together in a glamorous mirror compact. The perfect quick fix combination of skin responsive powder and a hydrating lipstick. Any Divine Lips lipstick will fit in the compact so the lipstick can be changed as needed.

"I love this duo. I can easily find 2 of my most important cosmetics without having to rummage at the bottom of my bag. I can touch up my face quickly with a pat of powder and sweep of lipstick. Perfect!"

My thought's:
I did give a light brush of the compact powder. The addition of powder did not make my skin look cakey nor cling to my dry areas. Its a light and finely milled powder that only is required for touch ups, i found using it once was sufficent. The divine lipstick was creamy and felt moisturising. The pigment was fantastic and even when drink and eating the colour was still left, it became's matte upon wearing and can be easily touched up. Its a beautiful colour and lovely lipstick, I really am in love with this formula.

Have you tried any of the range ?What  would you try ?

KISS Cosmetic's - Sample Kiss and Sheer Stick's

KISS cosmetic's are line of cosmetic's catering in Lip product's. I was kindly sent one but then i purchased 4 of my own to expand the colour range.
They say :
Colour Is Our Passion Make It Yours. Kiss Cosmetics is a line that solely focusses on quality lip products. The lip shades have been carefully selected to compliment all skin tones and affordability. The nourishing formulations ensure your lips can wear highly pigmented splashes of colour. Appealing to every occasion, offering treatment's to keep lip's healthy or a colour changer to create your own unique shade's.

"My vision was to create a fashion forward, wild colour cosmetics brand that offers unique innovative twists along the way." Creator - Danielle Fenwick
What are Sample size's ?
Miniature version of KISStick (Same formula) just a mini. Consisting of 10 pigmented shades. Whatever your doing KISStick wont neglect your lips with this moisturising and enriched formula.

Kiss Stick : Passionate Peach
Passionate Peach : A ‘cheeky’ yellow based nude peach, perfect for warm undertones. Really like this light nude coral colour which can be used during the day or as a centre highlight for a ombre lip effect. The formula is creamy and easy to apply, very opaque and pigmented for a light coral.

Kiss Stick : Toxic Kiss

Toxic Kiss : Dangerous, potent and PINK! A cool toned neon pink destined to brighten up your world.  I adore this colour as its a vibrant, intense pink shade. It gives the most amazing pigmented colour, also when applied it stays creamy and not sticky. The formula is very creamy and applies so easily on the lip's. I will probably purchase a full size of this colour as i really love how it looks.

Kiss Stick : Frisky Fuchsia
Frisky Fuchsia : A delicious raspberry, not too cool so as to suit most skin tones. This is another personal favourite as its really a bright raspberry shade. It's the perfect transitional shade for the summer to autumn season, when the berry shades start to appear.

Sheer Stick : Flamingo

Flamingo : A vivid fuchsia pink with blue undertones. The sheer stick is like a balm with a hint of colour, fantastic for the day time or occassions where you may wish to have a more natural look.

like that KISS specialises on one set of product's as then you become a master of your art. With the release of Sample size you can now trial the formulation, pigmentation and texture before purchasing the full sized product. I would have loved to purchase the whole set to swatch and use to gain a broader idea of the shade's offered.

I really like the formula as it is creamy and applies really easily. The pigment is rich and opaque on application, plus it doesnt  make the lips feel dry. The lips feel creamy and not sticky. It's long wearing and i only lightly re-applied if i was eating and drinking whilst wearing. Im very happy with the product and feel trying the product beforehand is a huge positive. However with every review there are some experiences i would like to give feedback on.

Con's
 I love the sample sizes yet the £2.00 price tag, whilst i can appriciate its a professional finish, I felt it was a little expensive. I'd be happier with a simple design to bring the cost down. Main reason many brands offer full sized lipsticks cheaper.

 I tried a coupon code to purchase more yet it did not accept. Maybe the website had a bad day and not working for me. Customer service was helpful but i tried all options suggested. I wanted to get this review completed and published so i obtained what i could.

MAC - Julia Petit collection

This collection is limited edition. Inspired from the well known beauty blogger and tv personality Julia petit. It was a small collection and i bought only 2 lipstick's from it. I did want to purchase the blush but it was sold out. The lipstick's are unique, one shade is not a colour i would usually go for.

Julia's blog link http://www.juliapetit.com/home/

They say :
Whether fearless and exotic or classically demure. Julia Petit’s brazen approach to style and makeup artistry, has transformed her into one of South America’s most revered lifestyle bloggers and a cult beauty icon. In her  MAC collaboration she brings the alluring women, a fantastical urban landscape of São Paulo to life with sizzling sun-kissed hues.

So the lipstick's i picked are called Boca and Aqai. Below are swatches and also me wearing Boca, which has become a firm favourite.

The packaging is the glossy black bullet with the MAC logo, then Julia's name is in gold with her signature. The less is more on a packaging i feel is best and it looks more classy.

Lipstick's in Boca and Aqai

Lipstick : Lips go from day to night and matte to satin in three modern hues. Formulated to shade, define and showcase the lips. The iconic product that made M?A?C famous. Glossy black packaging with Julia Petit’s signature in copper.

Swatches

So above are the swatches for Boca and Acai. Boca is a nude shade, that is on the light pink/coral side. It can look darker in the bullet but when applied its alot more wearable. Acai is a lipstick alot of people shy from, as it is a rich bright berry shade. It tend's to be a shade mostly seen, also used more in the autumn/winter. I find this colour will be a vibrant summer colour shade, I will love to show off.

Wearing the shade Boca

So above i am wearing the shade "Boca". As you can see its a lovely pink nude shade on my lips. I love this shade as i can never find a nude that i like or suit's me. Its creamy on my lips and last's a long time before needing reapplication. Im so impressed and cant wait to wear Acai and see how that shade looks.

Where have i been ?

Many of us use makeup as we have a passion or or it is nessesity of our daily life. For me it is a mixture of things. It is one of those ...
