Busy bee stationary - May edition

Its that time in the month where I recieve my Busy bee stationary box. This is an amazing box which is perfect for anyone who loves to write and be creative. I love to add to my writing and Journalling tool's.

I love the Santoro collection's, these pen's are perfect addition's to the metallic set I have. They are the thin tip version so I can write in my journal with them. I love the design so much, they are so cute.

- Santoro Sticky notes set

Another Santoro product which is visually stunning. These sticky notes are all different sizes, they also have a beautiful design on each. I cannot wait to use them. 

- Detail's monochrome paperclips (6pk)

These paperclips have come just at the right time as I had run out. I dont just use them to Journal but to keep important documents in order. Seeing as its the new financial year, these paperclips will be going to good use. 

- Zazz Glitter glue (Purple & Gold)

Now perfect for Scrapbooking and any project that may call for some glitter to jazz it up. I love purple and gold so I cant wait to try them and see how they perform.

- Santoro Pen & pencil holder

This is beautiful and I cannot wait to have all my pen's and pencil's on view now. My writing desk was in need of a pen holder, as they are becoming quite a formidable collection. So this is a perfect addition to my writing desk.

- Becky Higgin's : Project life (Kit)

This is new for me and look's like a really creative kit for either Scrapbooking or decorating a really special photo. I will definitely be posting any creations via my Instagram as this kit looks so unique.

- Santoro Mouse matt

My writing desk is complete now, this Santoro mouse matt just added that final touch of beauty. I am so in love with this designer as the cute factor and its functionality are fantastic.

- Becky Higgin's: Project life (Frame)

These are clear plastics which again are great for Scrapbooking and decorating photos you wish to display. Again its so unique to me that I cant wait to be creative. I can show off what I make and what the kit can do. 

- Confetti chipboard decorations 

This chipboard is thick and will be great for any crafting as they are very sturdy. There are 46 designs on this one chipboard and its a really a decent size.

Overall view

Holy wowzer Busy bee staff, what an amazing box. The Santoro products which are for your creative space, to keep it functional and tidy. Plus the item's are super cute and I love them for my writing area. It brightens up my space and makes me smile while my creative mind runs wild. I couldnt be happier with these item's. 

The Becky Higgin's : Project life frames and kit are new to me. From my initial impression of the kit enclosed, it's a brilliant product for my scrapbooking as it has glitter card's and embellishments. Perfect to make scrapbook pages unique and also decorate smaller photos within it. Im sure it can be used for other crafting and also the frame's. The frames seem to be very unique in that they are clear, so would go over a photo to add a special decoration. Again great for scrapbooking, also decorating photos on display. So im excited to recieve these product's in my box, as ive been introduced to a new brand. Like the Confetti chipboard is a new brand to me. This chipboard is study with its 46 decorative adhesives. I can use these for scrapbooking, Journalling and also decorations for notepads. It's endless the    possibilities for these decorations. 

So this month's box was by far the best yet. Amazing brand's and products included for writing and multiple craft's also. The box has so much for me to utilise and I really do think the quality of this month's edition is exceptional.

Distress ink is the best and has a vast array of colours. This is a mermaid blue with a hint of green, its a small size not suitable for the stamper included which is a shame. This would have been a great ink to use. 

- Stamp (date and decorative)

I love this stamp as i have a very similar one only with the patterns are instead of sayings and no date also. This is really unique and I really like it. However il have to purchase an ink pad to fit the length, not a huge grumble but I would have loved to use it with my other item's. 

- Set of 5 pencil's and sharpener

The pencil's have numerous lovely statements on them, they come with a pretty standard metal sharpener. Very sturdy and I like that I can use when I need supply, not pre-sharpened which is a waste. Writers and artists always need pencils. 

- Busy bee travelling notebook

This is really nicely put together and made well, has plastic dividers so it can be used for anything you need. Lined paper which is thin but good enough quality for list making or jotting notes. I really like this as a pocket handbook. 

- 36 stationary card's (travel themed)

These are my favourite item as they are notecard's, travel themed which can be used for scrapbooking to cardmaking. They have a vintage feel and im so excited to use these as i can just do something different and have mini postcards for birthdays or as gift tags within parcel's. An amazing addition to my set. 

- 3 travel charms 

These charms are brilliant, as I can use them for my planner's or stationary to give a little more bling. I love these are vintage looking and unique to travelling as then can be rotated for when I go anywhere. Also amazingly well made. 

- Click pen 

Cannot see the brand very well but it's a quite thicker then your normal biro size, which is brilliant for writers like me whom struggle. It gives more surface area to grip so not all the pressure is on my main joints, yet distributed evenly. I like this pen and I think it could be what i base future writing tool's on as its comfortable. 

- Travel stickers (4 sheet's) 

These sticker's are fabulous for planner decorators and stationary addicts alike. Multipurpose uses from jazzing up your mail to decorating the weeks your on holiday in your journal. Endless possibilities for these stickers and there is a generous amount. 

Overall April was a fantastic box, well put together around the theme of travel and new beginnings. I liked that it had everything you could need down to a sharpener for your pencil's. It really did feel like a fuller box this month and didnt miss the quality. The products are all quality item's and there isnt an item that stands out. My only one hiccup is probably the size of the Ink for the stamp, its not easy to use and I love the colour of this ink but it looks to be a sample or meant for smaller single stamps. So that would be my only comment for this month, as the stamper is so unique that I want to use it on all my mail I recieve and send. (I have my mail date stamped for important item's) 

So im really excited for next months box and its contents.

Can we take a moment to admire the art on this eraser. Its cute and works amazing when im doing art work. Ive been getting back into pencil art and i only had the small erasers on the pencil which tend to be very stiff and can rip or ruin a piece. This was a definite on my wish list to get a decent eraser. Then alongside is a mechanical pencil which gives fantastic outlines to drawing's. Another must have for the kit and you can never have too many pencil's.

This book is going to be perfect for my portable kit, as i can do some drawing whilst im out on quality paper. It's a perfect size for when im attending appointment's, I can sketch in peace without bothering anyone using a huge sketchpad. Ideal size for travel.

I know ive said this brand from the previous two products, is beyond cute and im adoring having these be in my box. To now have a set of metallic pen's to write with in my journalling planners really excite's me. Any writer will tell you that our candy is having writing books (journal's, notebook's, diaries etc)and an  obscene amount of pen's. I say obscene as to have idea's and then run out of ink in a pen, is the worst feeling. Its happened to me many time's, I always then have to try keep the idea until I can write it down. So as you can imagine im over the moon with these pen's and the artwork on them you just cant ignore. So far has to be my favourite pick of this month's box.

- Sparrow & Wolf card's 

Lovely Greetings cards with silver foil raindrops and a Greetings card with Gold Umbrella Pattern. Each card comes with a brown kraft envelope. Printed on 100% recycled card and paper. Proudly designed and printed in the UK. Card is blank inside for your own message. Perfect as a little thank you, birthday or simple 'hello' card. Made from 100% recycled stock.

I have had one of these card's before myself and they are high quality. Sturdy and can be used for any occassion as they are blank. So if your like me and like having card's on hand to send to anyone  then these are ideal. I always think sending a card shows alot of thought and can really make someone feel special. So again great for my writing kit to send to penpals also. 

mt - Kanobi washi tape 

Unique Japanese masking tape made of Washi paper is strong while being extremely thin compared with those made in other countries. It has an excellent adhesiveness and it was well-received world-wide as it can be removed easily without leaving a trace.

I had to do a little research on this brand as ive never seen it when i typically shop for washi tape's. After seeing the website, its made me want more of the spring collection. This washi tape is thin but the quality is beyond that of any washi tape in my collection currently. (I own around 15 so far, different material and size)

This box is really well set out with a notepad, pencil, pen's, eraser and notecard's, then we have a lovely gift bag to finish off the box content's. 

As ive said on my blog, im enjoying getting back into journalling and writing again. Ive always had notebooks and a diary on me to write in, however my passion's been reignited to get back the creative side I alway's enjoyed. Having the tool's is essential. Im pencil drawing again, yet can only draw for short periods of time. (Chronic joint pain) So having tool's that give an ease to achieving my goal and are high quality is definitely something I look for. 

All of the box content's are of an amazing quality and definate addition's to my kit. Im really blown away with the quality of the brand's included. Also the product's were so well picked, that you can immediately draw or write at will. Im so excited with this subscription box. I never expected to recieve a box where I love every product and will have a use for them all. I really love this subscription box and highly recommend.
