Crabtree & Evelyn has come together with London-based designer Josie Shenoy to create the vibrant packaging for our new summer gift sets, including travel kits, Hand Therapy sets and more. Josie’s illustrations focus on themes of nature and decorative arts as well as a love of storytelling. At the heart of her designs for Crabtree & Evelyn are the floral treasures found within a glasshouse and the distinctively English tradition of afternoon tea. 

With these as inspiration, Josie has created a kaleidoscopic composition in a palette of vintage colours and textures that serves as beautiful packaging for our premium gifts. Along with the gift sets is the NEW Floral Body Care collection. I love these gift and travel sets of various scent's, it really is a gift that can achieve anything from calming, extravagance and plain relaxing. New releases of scent's is always exciting. Crabtree & Evelyn really did produce quality sets for anyone you may need a gift for, or if you want a well deserved pamper evening. 

The natural ingredients mean's the scents and the quality is outstanding. As I said  I'm not a floral type of girl, so will stick to mostly fruity or sweet scents. I however now think that smelling nature in full bloom, is the most uplifting feeling to start the day with.The floral travellers sets are inspired by summer fresh blooms. 

It is inspired in every step from the grouping of products, to the beautifully illustrative decor on the hand therapy sets to the sturdy elegant travellers kits hand presentation. Is the best way I can describe this collection.

Dermalex - Psoriasis cream

Having had psoriasis for nearly 22 years, I can say Ive probably used every cream on the market. When I flare up and its at its worst I have to use more emolliants to moisturise and ensure my skin does not crack. Im trying Dermalex to see if it does work and how it feels. 

About : Dermalex reduces the typical symptoms by normalising skin cell production and maturation time. It accelerates the skin barrier recovery via activation of the skin's own repair mechanism and fortifies the skin barrier through the creation of a protective shield and prevention of water loss from inside to outside. Dermalex Repair Psoriasis is a dermatological product for the treatment of Psoriasis skin symptoms such as scaling, itching, red spots, hardened and thickened skin. Clinically proven to reduce itching and scaling from 2 weeks

Dermalex Repair Psoriasis does not contain corticosteroids, tar or tar products, vitamin D3 analogues, vitamin A-derivatives, suphur (S), keratolytic substances like salicylic acids and colourants.

- Dermalex Repair Psoriasis

The packaging is sharp and to the point, which is something i do prefer in creams. So on removal from the packaging the tube of cream is the same. With this cream you only need a small amount and it goes so far.

My skin is dry and flaky on a normal flare up, this is hard to get on top of unless your not stressed. Unfortunately I was very stressed this month with going into hospital for an operation. So upon application I did notice is burns and stings quite a bit, not uncomfortably but you will notice it.

 After having used the Dermalex its got my skin looking good and not as angry. Im going to try and continue to use this cream, then see if it can just improve this final stage.

So overall I like Dermalex as it does work and help my skin. Each persons skin is different and reacts in different ways. My experience was upon application when absorbing, it was stinging and felt uncomfortable.(Nothing a good book wont fix as a distraction) Then when absorbed it penetrates the skins layers and helps to get rid of all dead skin, so I would recommend a shower/bath with a good exfoliator. I would recommend for anyone whom is looking for a good cream which is absorbent and does not wipe off as the day goes. Dermalex is defiantly a cream which stays on the skin and removes the most stubborn of layers.   

Cafe de Bain : Bath product's

Simple measures in the day can give the most relaxation, such as taking a warm bath or massaging power shower. Cafe de Bain offers bath and shower cream's, scented with the hint's of beautiful french dessert's.

Take a break out of your busy day and indulge with some time that’s just for you. This decadently-rich bath crème will moisturise and nourish your skin leaving you looking and feeling delectable.

My View - 

This smell's fantastic as the cherry scent is so delicious. You have all the cherry tone's with a underlying almond base. It's beautiful on the skin and so moisturising to use within the bath. I leave the water to run whilst adding a bit to make some bubble's. I liked to use this on a flannel and lather it up to wash with, as the scent is so beautiful.

- Coconut Macaroon Bath Creme 

Coconut Macaroons are small meringue-like biscuits, crunchy on the outside, soft and delicious on the inside. Made from four simple ingredients: ground almonds, sugar, egg whites and coconut. Inspired by the rich caramel fragrance of lightly toasted coconut, this decadent creamy-rich lather will moisturise and nourish your skin.

My View - just like with the Cherry scent, the coconut is definitely a favourite with me as it's lovely and summery. It is definitely a range I want to re-purchase, as I have enjoyed using this so much. Also giving little pot's to family for them to try as its perfect for summer, I wanted them to experience a lovely bath cream which is also very affordable. They all agreed it was something they definitely would try and it's beautifully scented.

My View - This rich coconut scented shower cream is light-weight. A small amount can lather up and leave you feeling fresh, plus has you smelling of rich coconut macaroon's. A beautiful shower cream that I enjoy using for that fresh summer scent. Easily opened and accessible to use when in the shower. 

Overall View

I used these bath & shower cream's in my daily routine. It is a light consistency which clean's and make my skin smell amazing. It also hydrated my skin, with only a small amount required to get a lather. This range of shower and bath cream's has left my skin feeling less dry and scented beautifully. Im definitely going to be re-purchasing, as its a must have for me now. 

Nivea : BB Cream

I always prefer on days where im not doing a full look, to use a BB cream and help my skincare. Nivea is by far a brand well known for amazing skincare that is respected and affordable.

- Daily lookbook 

My skin has a light coat of BB cream and it can be built up or use a concealer plus additional powder for more coverage. I tend to just use the BB cream as I will use heavier makeup for my looks, this gives my skin more of a chance to breathe. It gives a even finish to my skin and takes away any redness on my cheeks. Its really affordable and I do love this BB cream and it give's my skin some time off from a full coverage routine.

Nectaperfecta has so many use's, it was hard to decide what to use this duluxe sample for. As my skin was in dire need of help, I decided to use it as a facial mask. I use up to a hour for the intensive treatment, then use my soft exfoliating cloth with warm water to wash it off. My skin was so soft and refeshed after, it helped with the dry area's around my eye's over several uses. Id had a pretty bad reaction to some glitter shadow, I used this to help add moisture and use a natural alternative. This calmed my eye area so much with just a thin layer tapped on the affected area. I was amazed as im so surprised that this even worked so quickly. I still have slight dry skin but nothing some facial oil wont fix. This has made my skin so much better then I expected it, if id had another 2-3 day's worth then I think my skin would be hydrated and back in balance. 

Overall I would purchase this product, as it does what it says on the instructions and more. I used it morely facial wise so my experience is based on this use. Its natural and so far all the Bee good product's I've used have been fantastic.

How to use : 

Use morning and night. Apply to cotton wool and gently sweep over dry skin to cleanse and revive face, eyes and neck. No need to rinse.

My thought's : This water is calm and cooling on the skin. With a light scent but not noticeable on application or causes any form of irritation. Removes facial makeup including heavy coverage with ease and not excessive need for more cleanser. 

Eye makeup is again easily removed including cream and powder based products. Cream shadows or glitter are no problem and this cleanser helps hydrate the eye, protecting the delicate skin. However with liquid lip products, whilst it removed and my skin was not left red raw. I found allowing the cotton to sit on my lips just to start breaking down the formula helped for quicker, plus save reusing more product and cotton to remove the layers. 

So this is definatly a brand and product i will be looking into repurchasing again. I love the ethos of the company and with being natural left my skin not feeling as dehydrated.
