Dermalex - Psoriasis cream

Having had psoriasis for nearly 22 years, I can say Ive probably used every cream on the market. When I flare up and its at its worst I have to use more emolliants to moisturise and ensure my skin does not crack. Im trying Dermalex to see if it does work and how it feels. 

About : Dermalex reduces the typical symptoms by normalising skin cell production and maturation time. It accelerates the skin barrier recovery via activation of the skin's own repair mechanism and fortifies the skin barrier through the creation of a protective shield and prevention of water loss from inside to outside. Dermalex Repair Psoriasis is a dermatological product for the treatment of Psoriasis skin symptoms such as scaling, itching, red spots, hardened and thickened skin. Clinically proven to reduce itching and scaling from 2 weeks

Dermalex Repair Psoriasis does not contain corticosteroids, tar or tar products, vitamin D3 analogues, vitamin A-derivatives, suphur (S), keratolytic substances like salicylic acids and colourants.

- Dermalex Repair Psoriasis

The packaging is sharp and to the point, which is something i do prefer in creams. So on removal from the packaging the tube of cream is the same. With this cream you only need a small amount and it goes so far.

My skin is dry and flaky on a normal flare up, this is hard to get on top of unless your not stressed. Unfortunately I was very stressed this month with going into hospital for an operation. So upon application I did notice is burns and stings quite a bit, not uncomfortably but you will notice it.

 After having used the Dermalex its got my skin looking good and not as angry. Im going to try and continue to use this cream, then see if it can just improve this final stage.

So overall I like Dermalex as it does work and help my skin. Each persons skin is different and reacts in different ways. My experience was upon application when absorbing, it was stinging and felt uncomfortable.(Nothing a good book wont fix as a distraction) Then when absorbed it penetrates the skins layers and helps to get rid of all dead skin, so I would recommend a shower/bath with a good exfoliator. I would recommend for anyone whom is looking for a good cream which is absorbent and does not wipe off as the day goes. Dermalex is defiantly a cream which stays on the skin and removes the most stubborn of layers.

My View - 

This smell's fantastic as the cherry scent is so delicious. You have all the cherry tone's with a underlying almond base. It's beautiful on the skin and so moisturising to use within the bath. I leave the water to run whilst adding a bit to make some bubble's. I liked to use this on a flannel and lather it up to wash with, as the scent is so beautiful.

My View - just like with the Cherry scent, the coconut is definitely a favourite with me as it's lovely and summery. It is definitely a range I want to re-purchase, as I have enjoyed using this so much. Also giving little pot's to family for them to try as its perfect for summer, I wanted them to experience a lovely bath cream which is also very affordable. They all agreed it was something they definitely would try and it's beautifully scented.

My View - This rich coconut scented shower cream is light-weight. A small amount can lather up and leave you feeling fresh, plus has you smelling of rich coconut macaroon's. A beautiful shower cream that I enjoy using for that fresh summer scent. Easily opened and accessible to use when in the shower. 

Overall View

I used these bath & shower cream's in my daily routine. It is a light consistency which clean's and make my skin smell amazing. It also hydrated my skin, with only a small amount required to get a lather. This range of shower and bath cream's has left my skin feeling less dry and scented beautifully. Im definitely going to be re-purchasing, as its a must have for me now.

This is a sturdy and well made sign, spelling out the word "love". It is decorated with a floral pattern on the front of the sign, then is white in the other area's. Really nice little chic decorative piece, it can be placed in small space's to add some colour and personality,  

- Sass & Belle "Easter bunny"

I love this little bunny and as i have a beautiful new niece, i think this will be the perfect gift for her first spring. I'll use another item in the box to personalise it.

- Sass & Belle "floral bird hook"

Ive had a bird hook before within a HappyMail box and its one of my favourite item's. This will look so lovely as a pair now, plus an additional hook for item's. My bedroom has a forest green and wood scheme, so anything like birds etc gives a beautiful effect when its hung up.

- Tags & stationery set 

This beautiful vintage themed tag set with stickers and twine included is stunning. I cant wait to use this too make a personalised tag for Sass & Belle bunny for my niece. 

- Clipbag

This is a handy portable shopping bag. Its easy to fold and carry in your handbag or clipped to your keychain as it's so light. They're environmentally friendly in that they reduce your need to use plastic bags, which also helps save money in the long run also. 

- Hemp string 

This is a red string which is good for all craft and if like me your just getting into penpalling, it's handy to have so I can bundle my letters in neat pile's. Always a good staple to have.

- Washi tape 

I currently have stocked up some Washi tapes and I do love the design of this one. I have so far loved learning how to do this form of decorating paper, pages in a scrapbook with Washi tape. I love having them in my craft box and look forward to getting more designs. 

- Wax melt 

This wax melt is beautiful and i can only describe the smell as almost like marzipan. This melt is quite big and thick, so you can cut off bit's to melt and make it last. As this is quite fragrant and the scent throw is really good, I only use a small amount to burn in my melter. Im so glad this melt will last me at least the month. 

- Malteaser's bunny chocolate 

Being that it is traditional this weekend with spring we have been given a bunny chocolate treat. Yummy and thank you. (This little bunny did not last long past this picture) 

- Inspiration "This is my happy place"

I love having Inspiration cards within my stationary set. As i can use them for letters to friends, inserts to happy parcel il send to cheer up family and friends plus other use's. I even have a frame which i will change every week to keep motivated and inspired,   

I really liked this month's edition with the stationary in particular. Im really enjoying my passion's of writing, scrap-booking and journalling as way's to express myself. This box had some nice summery useful materials for this and I am excited to use them. My floral bird hook will be put up next to the one i had received when ihearthomes was a very new subscription, it was probably one of the first items within the box. My easter bunny will definitely be a keepsake il personalise for my niece. So the box as a whole has a lot that is relevant and great for my hobbies. The "Love" sign is beautiful but very small, this felt maybe a little out of place with last month being valentines themed. 

The chocolate bunny did not last long at all sadly. The clip-bag was not my cup of tea unfortunately and whilst this box was amazing for my hobbies, it somewhat felt lacking something. 

Shoreditch Vape system

Vaping has become so normal to see when in public now, as a replacement to cigarettes. I wanted to do this review alongside my husband (he will be using the Vape), to answer the questions for people considering vaping. 

About the Vape system : 

We have 2 great e-cigarette kits, known as vape pens. The Shoreditch One and Shoreditch Two are designed to be simple to use and produce a great vaping experience with none of the hassle and complications associated with many other vape pens on the market.

Coil's

These contain a heating element and cotton. The cotton absorbs the e-liquid, when the power button on your vape pen is pressed the heating element vaporises the e-liquid.

Is the kit easily assembled?

The Vape kit comes well packed and easy to assemble,the instructions are so simple to follow.

Is the Oil easy to insert ? The oil is an easy system to use, just a small squeeze on the bottle fill's it to the chamber level. Then seal back up and leave for 2 minute's if using a new coil, for it to soak in or if coil is infused then continue to Vape. 

Do you think this is a good alternative? This has been an excellent alternative to smoking, if you have the habit of needing a cigarette. Vaping gives the nicotine your body is craving, yet eliminate's all the chemical's attached to a cigarette. The oil's for tabacco have different strengths, so you can start on a high level then wean down if your ultimate goal is to stop for good. 

How long does one fill of oil last ? One fill of oil within the system can last up to 2 weeks, depending on how heavy a smoker you are and requirement's. The actual bottle of oil i can see by my husbands requirement (Used to be 20 per day roll up) will last a good 2 month's as a rough guess. He has 3 flavours/Strength's to switch it up a bit and so far he is loving the Vape. It's also a great saver in many way's, as no need to waste paper or time on roll up's. 

Do you like this vape system ? My husband has tried 3 of the Vape's currently on the market, this is by far the one that's gotten the most praise. He is impressed by its durability, sensation on vaping and overall experience. 

Do you have the urge to smoke ? He has not wanted to have a actual cigarette when offered by any family member's. He says the vape offers a cleaner tasting smoke, plus the nicotine is more apparent then in needing a whole cigarette to achieve the same feeling. 

What do you think of the vape's way to wean down the nicotine? It's a more logical and effective way to wean off nicotine and smoking as a whole. I think the oil level going down will give far better result's then just going cold turkey on one system that offers only one strength. 

Can you smell anything when used ? Ive been around my husband when he has vaped, then done this smell test to see if i can get any scent. On the initial exhale you will get the faintest hint of the flavour, then it totally dissipates into thin air. So no residual scent is left whilst and after vaping. 

Ultimately smoking or Vaping ? Now the plus points for Vaping are endless, from financially to health benefits. Also if you still have the habit to hold something within your hand's, yet you've weaned off nicotine then there are so many oil flavour's to try. Vaping can remain enjoyable even past giving up smoking. 

Any tip's ? Use a tissue or some barrier when opening the oil's and adding to the chamber. As if any gets on your finger's it will linger for at least a day, no matter how much you wash them.

My little Bubble box - March edition

After last month's amazing box and My little box getting back to how it was orginally, unique mixed some sparkle. I was looking forward to this month's box and even more so when i saw the theme. So let's dive into the March edition to see what we have been given.

This is a cute and fun addition to the usual inspiration card. I will give this to my little nephew when he comes over next week, as i think this is one of those small little thing's that bring laughter to a day. 

- Bubble magazine & Hairbrush

This month's magazine is so cute and then along with the first item within the box, which is a hairbrush just made me excited to see the rest of the contents. It was definitely something I wanted to buy, as I hate taking my ghd paddle brush out because its so big. 

I might be really geeky or a lover of retro style beauty item's, I really love this brush. Its cute and lightweight which makes it ideal for taking with you travelling.

- Makeup sponge

Im really excited for this product. Now whilst most will argue "it cant beat the market leader", I believe everything is worth a try. So for my next few look's, I will use this and report how well it does and compare it. 

- Beauty bag (incl Givenchy mascara, Garancia peel spray, My little beauty cheek & lip bubble tint)

- Givenchy mascara : now this is the kind of french makeup every once in a while id love to see. Believe me Yves Rocher was lovely but its not the only brand.

- My little beauty cheek & lip bubble tint : I put a swatch above of the colour and blended pigment of this tint. It is thick and you do need to work it as soon, as its in the skin or it can leave a outline mark. 

- Garancia peel spray : This is a totally new brand for me and upon reading the information card, it sounds really unique and a timesaver in your skincare routine.

This box again did not fail to deliver and was packed full of amazing item's. I will use all of the content's and loved how it was brought together. The hairbrush is cute, easy to travel with and just feels long wearing. The makeup sponge is something I am going to do a post on, il compare against the two top branded ones on the market. The beauty bag was the biggest surprise so far, as I wasn't expecting to see a Givenchy mascara and a skincare item that sounds like a timesaving dream. 

This box is amazing and the design is probably by far the best so far. Its a beautiful set of pastel colours with a rollergirl then retro style "My bubble box" writing. It just couldn't have been a better box this month. Three cheer's to the My little box this month and bring on next month.

The initial presentation, coming in a normal cardboard box with a very humerous little quote and logo imprinted. (See above "Blow your sock's off picture" Already you get a smile and the anticipation of what will be inside your box. With my subscription i like the element of surprise, so I was unaware of colour or design within. 

On opening you see the tissue paper wrapped content's, along with the card stating the amount of sock's, duration of subscription and quantity you will recieve each month. 

This month I recieved the average size (6-11, they also cater for a large size 11-16).

which are Unisex in colouring. The blue and Orange striped design is a fun pair of sock's to have in your collection. 

Very soft to the touch and on wearing feel comfortable plus well fitted to the shape of the foot. It's thin yet light weight but gives warmth also. Its a really high quality pair of sock's you recieve. 

I would certainly say this subscription box is unique, plus fantastically practical for any professionals. You can stock up on what you need for the month and how many pair's also. It would make the perfect gift subscription, if you are someone whom likes to give a more unique twist on a classic present.
