Amie - All clear Instant Action, Spot cleansing gel

So my final review for Amie is the new All clear instant spot gel. Its a clear, light gel containing all the needed ingredients for quick removal of pesky blemishes and spots.

They say
All Clear Instant Action Spot Clearing Gel – is a super-effective treatment for spots and blemishes which starts working from the moment it is applied. This triple-action gel contains natural spot-busting ingredients such as Salicylic Acid and Willow Bark, which immediately target spots and blemishes and help unclog pores to clear spots. All Clear also contains naturally active Eucalyptus and Peppermint oils which help prevent spots from forming and help keep skin clear and healthy. All Clear Instant Action Spot Clearing Gel’s triple-action effect comes from three key naturally active ingredients:

Salicylic Acid – is a natural ingredient derived from the bark of the willow tree which is an effective treatment for acne and oily skin. It works as a natural skin exfoliant by encouraging the peeling of the top layer of the skin and the opening of plugged follicles which helps spots and blemishes to clear up. It also has anti-inflammatory properties which can help relieve the swelling and soreness that is associated with spots and acne.
Eucalyptus Oil – possesses potent antiseptic properties and is helpful in the healing and drying up of spots and blemishes. Eucalyptus Oil also contains antibacterial qualities that target the blemish-causing bacteria on the skin to help prevent further outbreaks of spots and acne.
Peppermint Oil – is a natural cleanser and decongestant for the skin. Not only does it cool the skin and reduces acne inflammation but it inhibits the bacterial growth that can lead to the inflammation of hair follicles that allows spots to form.

Suitable for sensitive skin, Amie’s All Clear Instant Action Spot Clearing Gel will help soothe and calm irritated skin and encourage natural skin cell exfoliation, leaving skin clear, fresh and healthy. Use morning and night for best results.

So as always it comes wrapped in the well known pink tissue with Amie logo sticker. Professional and lovely packaging that shows effort from the start your order is received.

So 15mls is contained within this spot gel container and a little goes far as you need a dot literally. The pointed dispenser means you can target the spot with no need to touch it and just apply a little dot, allow this to dry on its own and absorb in. You then don't risk the chance of touching any further parts of your face and having more little spot friends popping up.

As you can see the consistency is not too runny and a little dot will pretty much stay in place but if you insist in touching your face then I would disinfect before and after. As a spot is a bacteria after all and you should use an antiseptic wash before and after. To stop the spread of bacteria, I love this product and for a natural product. I do find this lovely and would prefer this then high concentrate acid only product. This actually takes natural ingredients as well as well known acids that kill acne bacteria. Nice addition to the Amie facial system they have if you suffer from acne, I have had a few spots with the monthly hormonal week. This removes them quick as stops the really red and basically pus stage if caught quick enough.

Amie wipes - New bloom Gentle face wipes

Okay so wipes, guilty I'm a wipe hoarder. I will stock basic wipes for my makeup drawer to use during application and then use cotton with a cleanser and my clarisonic on those days. (Dont use my clarisonic daily).

They say
Amie’s NEW BLOOM Gentle Facial Cleansing wipes are beautifully soft wipes that instantly wipe away dirt, oil and make-up and help leave skin feeling toned and moisturisedThese fragrance-free wipes  are suitable for all skin types including sensitive. They contain skin-friendly natural extracts of pomegranate, cranberry and green tea for beautifully clear, soft and radiant skin.
Harmonising natural extracts
Pomegranate, Cranberry, Green tea
as with all Amie’s award-winning products, they are: free from parabens, mineral oils, petrochemicals, free from animal extracts, suitable for vegetarians and vegans, dermatologically tested, Cruelty-free approved.

I was sent the Amie skincare wipes to try. Now I will say I've been so impressed with Amie I really do think its so undervalued as a brand. It's remarkable for sensitive skin and dry skin. Plus natural and that's the catch for me when I'm cleaning my skin I like to use natural, as it makes no sense to me to after using makeup which has agents in it to then use a non natural skincare.  I know not everyone shares that view but I used one product a whole back so steeped in alcohol I could smell it on opening and application it near off burnt my skin and I was lucky to remove it quick and inform the company of this.

So these wipes are like a dream to me for makeup removal as they are a texture perfect to really get to every contour of the face. Also moist enough to clean without causing irritation to the eyes or make you feel your skins in need of some dry time. They smell amazing and I love pomegranate so I really do think its been the main factor as they are so fresh. Plus one wipe just gets every bit off and when you have 25 your aware of that fact. These are not your normal baby wipe they are intended for a purpose and a honestly savour these like its my brush hitting pan on a high end powder or foundation. Same feeling to me that wipes can be precious but when they feel so good I wish I could buy them in massive boxes like a baby wipe. As I would in a heartbeat trade cotton for these after a heavy makeup routine.

Now on looking I was expecting these to be in line with the competitors, Amie still amazes me that I actually think I could treat myself every couple of months to a few packs, and not be guilty for the spend.

Amie - New leaf exfoliating polish

Another lovely offering from Amie, this is a gentle and natural scrub. Suitable for all skin-types.

They say -
Aime's carefully-edited collection of natural beauty essentials work hard and deliver visible results, and the range is particularly great for temperamental, unbalanced and sensitive skin. Specially formulated to work in complete harmony with your skin to keep it clear, soft and radiant, let Amie help you beat troublesome blemish-prone skin, and control oiliness and breakouts with its hard-working collection of natural sebum regulators and anti-bacterials.

A good way to reduce the appearance of blackheads is by daily washing or cleansing. Using a good exfoliator, such as New Leaf, to unclog pores and deep cleansing skin once or twice a week also helps. I highly recommend including an exfoliator to your skincare regieme.

So it arrived as all Amie skin care comes in a lovely pastel pink wrapped package.

Inside it comes with information on the range for the whole series and I haven't been disappointed as yet with one product. Its an affordable skincare regieme for anyone to start with young or old. It's natural and essential ingredients to ensure your skin is protected and hydrated.

So this scrub is a lovely gentle exfoliate that I use when I have a break from using  my clarisonic. I do not use my clarisonic daily as it can break me out with over use. So I like to use a gentle scrub to clean my face in the morning, as I really do need to feel like my face is really cleaned and exfoliated before my makeup routine.

If I use this in the morning or evening to really feel fresh and clean, plus if I have missed any areas with my cleansing wipes the night before. It's a perfect first time scrub if your looking for a gentle exfoliator.

It smells amazing and its mango seed little beeds mixed with the orange fresh smell, it just makes you want to use it as a body scrub .I'm addicted to it and  I think it's a fantastic product. It does same as the more expensive scrubs and offers the same quality. I'm amazed how much I love Amie's contributions, as scrubs usually can have me in agony as they are too harsh and abrasive etc.

As you can see below on my hand how it comes out of the tube and then thinned down when it's had water added . The mini orange beads are adorable and just with the orangey smell, makes this product a very well thought of, cohesive product. Its such value for money and i would recommend this to all whom are looking for a brand on a budget but also offers quality.

I'm  so impressed and cannot thank Amie enough for introducing me to there fantastic line of products.

This Amie gift bag will be a definite on my list to purchase for a few of my nearest and dearest. Plus it's amazing value.

Amie - Bright eyes : Makeup remover

Now I stand by brands that work and Amie is a brand that give value for money and results. So you can imagine when I saw the Bright eyes makeup remover I was like wow I need to try this.

They say :
Very Gentle Eye Make-up Remover
For easy make-up removal without tears. 98.9% natural ingredients
Eye make-up remover is an essential product for most girls who wear mascara, eyeshadow and eyeliner regularly and who find that they need a specialist cleanser that really removes all traces of eye make-up easily, as the last thing you want to do is rub away at the delicate eye area trying to get your make-up off ! Bright Eyes removes make-up effortlessly and gently without stinging or irritating the delicate eye area. Harmonising natural actives – meadow cornflower and chamomile soothe and decongest while grape water cleanses. Cooling cucumber hydrates and refreshes. 100% oil-free to ensure a non-greasy after-feel.
I use a lot of eyeliner and review so much eyeshadow that glitter and shimmer can stick when your rubbing with all your might. Believe me I've had some liners easily crumble off but others that need me to soak a cotton wipe for ages to get it off.

With Amie bright eyes its a light liquid that was so nice on my eyes and not stingy as some makeup removers can be if they are taking harsh eye makeup off and make you look like your having a serious reaction to pollen in the cusp of spring.

Now I did 3 makeup entries with some pretty detailed makeup and mix of matte, shimmers, creams, pigments and primers. To really test this remover out I needed to put it through its paces. So I thought that it needed every kind of eye makeup to do that. I wear gel liner as a religion so I only changed this by adding a liquid version too. So that I can show how extensive this remover can be without being harsh.

Very impressive and far cheaper then my Elizabeth Arden eye makeup remover so yes this is a exceptional product that meant my makeup was removed with less wipes and remover. Also my eyes did not suffer and the makeup that would leave my eyes red and sore from rubbing it off has been changed by this product. I don't rub and rub so its amazing to just take my makeup off in 2 minutes flat then be done. Again another brilliant offering from Amie skin care.

Amie - Purifying facial wash

Ok so I recently reviewed the Amie matte moisturiser and loved it, so much its now in my empties bin. So in mentioning this amazing sun but wow does it leave you feeling clogged and dry skinned in the evening and morning after sleep. If your lucky to get some. I might add, I was kindly and I'm so grateful to be asked to review the facial wash. Being a natural company with no addition of parabens, additives and mineral oils. Amie Skincare is great for anyone watching what they use on there skin or of delicate and sensitive skin types.

They say
Created by leading beauty expert and ex-Estée Lauder executive, Fiona Parkhouse, Amie was originally conceived as the ideal skincare solution for her own daughter, Samantha. Samantha was experiencing the extra-oiliness and breakouts of her teenage years but her skin was also very sensitive.  Fiona did not want her to use products that were too harsh or aggressive for her young skin as she felt that these products can cause more problems in the long run than they solve: for example, skin can feel dry and stripped, itchy, sensitised and can also lead to the over-production of oil and more spots, not fewer !
Working with leading dermatologist, Dr Susan Mayou of London Cadogan Clinic, Fiona created an effective natural solution that really works. “natural, non-irritating ingredients are important in skincare” Dr Susan Mayou, leading dermatologist.

96.8% natural ingredients

So the Facial wash comes in the same packaging as all Amie skincare. Lovely pastel pink tube with the well known Amie logo simple flower. It contains 150mls and you do not need alot at all to clean the face and I also use this for my neck area. Its great for my days off with my clarisonic or in duo with it. Very soft facial wash I really enjoy using. With a soap free formula its a creamy wash texture that you can move quite easily and massage as you please into the skin. Now I use this after I use my wipes if I use makeup to just get the residual dirt off. I now and again feel a tiny bit of a sugar which is one of the ingredients. Its not a scrub so literally it is a one in a rare occurrence, you may feel a grain.

Smells floral but not overwhelming, with mayblossom and elderflower plus an orange blossom and raspberry to tone. The smell stays with you as a lovely base scent. I really like this and don't usually go for floral scents so this is just on the right amount. As you can see the facial wash is thick to start with in consistency, then on addition of water will go very light, easy to massage, easy to use wash.

I really like this facial wash and think its perfect for anyone wanting natural produce, sensitive skin or anyone needing a light wash when suffering from any form of facial acne or complaint. Also as mayflower and elderflower are natural pore decongestants it should aid in the prevention of spots forming. Also because of the lack of soap you can insure that the skin won't become dried out and stripped of any natural moisture. Just what kind of facial wash you need in this amazing summer heat.

Amazing part of the Natural Amie skincare range. Thank you Amie skincare.

Amie Skincare - Morning Dew Matte finish Moisturiser

So having tried Amie skincare's Facial masks before i was keen to trial the Moisturiser that is part of a 3 step programme to help combat acne and problem skin. As my skin is not too badly suffering from blemishes (I do however get bad acne around the monthly time which is quite sore). asked to try the moisturiser as i have a dry skin type. This is the area i felt i could see if amie would really help me in.

What Amie say

Amie is the natural skin care and beauty range for sensitive skin, created by top beauty expert, Fiona Parkhouse. Bursting with natural plant and botanical extracts and free from harsh chemicals, Amie products are gentle yet super-effective,  Ideal for sensitive skin that can be oily and prone to breakouts or dryness, they have been especially designed to work in complete harmony with your skin to help keep it clear, soft and radiant. Amie’s high-quality products are completely free from parabens , sulphates, mineral oils, petrochemicals, animal extracts and are suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
Lovingly created in the UK, Amie – meaning “friend” in French –  is truly “your skin’s best friend”.

So the 3 step programme being that of most starting with the Cleanse, Treat then Moisturise. Having gone for the Moisturise i then sat and read the information regarding the cream. Now its said that the Moisturiser contained 90% natural ingredients  and works hard to revel a soft and dewy, shine free completion. Containing Bilberry, Vitamin E and rose hip.
Given that this is a moisturiser to help with oil control and maintaining a moisture balance i did use this as a moisturiser before i applied my makeup, after washing in the morning. I would then apply this before anything else, as although i do not suffer from oily skin i do find in the summer my skin can become oily in places around my T-zone and i would apply pressed powder during the day. We all know this can look cakey if applied over the day layer upon layer. Now its not been that hot to see that sort of appearance to my skin. However my skin does get dry and this moisturiser did help with that. Making sure there was a sufficient layer of hydration being given before i would apply my primer. It is a light cream that soaks in really nice and absorbs well into the skin. Plus it didn't build up which is another area that can cause skin to become blocked and create skin blemishes and acne. Again this didn't clog the skin in any way.
I really liked this cream and have been using it in the morning for my makeup routine so that its light enough to use before makeup plus absorbs in quickly. Now i have even used this in the evening when i don't have anything to hand and my skin hasn't broken out in dry patches.
I'm really thinking that naturally I should be including more chemical free treatments into my regime as with environmental factors, how much good am I doing my skin? Not alot is my guess , so with this being said I will be using this up (nearly compleate already) as I found it made my nails just as soft too when I was massaging this into my face and decolatage area. I would recommend this as a staple moisturiser and I am not of an oily (bar around my monthly period time and also now my hormones are imbalanced) complextion to comment fully on if this will leave you fully matte but I can say that its been lovely to use and the real test to see if this keeps everything matte will be come the end of summer and we have had more hotter days where my skin is more oily in places. For dry skin this is a lovely moisturiser that will quickly absorb into the skin with ease. Plus no clogged pores with my heavy full coverage had ensured that I do not end up with out-breaks all the time.
This will be coming with me in my handbag when I'm on appointments.
So im loving including more natural creams and skincare systems as I'm finding that they do keep my skin hydrated and wont have it breaking out as i would believe my skin might do. More naturally sourced ingredients and kinder to the skins natural balance is what we should be going towards. I found this to be really light and at only £4.25 for 100ml its is a affordable skincare to purchase and upkeep if you find it works for you.
Do with my blog hitting a year soon will this make my
