Having long hair means using loads of product's and hair ties. I too stock up on the hair ties i know wont pull, dent or damage my hair. Plus wont break by the sheer volume of hair I have when im out, leaving me with an unruly head of hair.

These hair ties come in a wide range of colour's for any occasion. Available in a 3 pack and the colour being made visable by the top of the pack. For my thick hair they are a godsend. I have curly long hair which when need's tying back or overnight to help prevent huge knots. I also have an array of wigs which i use Mi Ti's for, as i know the hair will not become tangled or damaged. As wigs are not cheap. 

In my latest lookbook photos you can see how i used the red & blue version. This shows up really well on how they look when using within your hair. They are simple to use and easily removed with no hair's getting matted or damaged. 

Im loving all the bright colours to co-ordinate them with my outfit and keep my long hair up. These Mi Ti's also do not kink my hair if i straighten it, which takes a while as my hair is very curly. If you find they are becoming mis-shapened or loose you only need drop them in hot water, I will be trying this when they do shop signs of give. So thats a real lifesaver to anyone whom uses and breaks hairbands frequently. As my hair is thick and curly, hairbands snapping is a real issue and having to carry spare's. Mi Ti's eliminated my need to carry spare's or worry about breaking when i go to tie my hair back. Im a huge fan of this hair-tie and think they are great long lasting, efficent and colourful range.

John Frieda - Frizz Ease

John frieda is a brand well know for his dedication, to helping women with troublesome hair. I am one of those women who has a frizz problem. So i tried some of the new products that frizz ease offers. 

They say :

Even the healthiest, undamaged hair can get frizzy. Contributors to frizz include humidity, excessive heat-styling (use of hair straighteners, curling tongs, hair dryers), excessive combing and brushing of dry hair, and chemical processing which changes the structure of hair, leading to damage and frizz.

So which serum should i use : 

Moderartly dry, frizzy hair : use the Original Formula serum on your wet hair. 

Extremely dry, coarse, unruly frizz : use Extra-Strength Formula on wet hair.

Heat treated : Thermal Protection formula has the benefits of the Original and Extra-Strength serums. It also protects against the damage caused by heat-styling and the sun. It can be used on towel-dried or dry hair.

Original 6 effects Serum : Instantly eliminates frizz and repels humidity for glossy, silky-smooth styles.  Apply to soaking wet hair. Use sparingly, dispensing 1 pump of Serum into palm. Rub hands together and distribute evenly throughout hair. Avoid applying directly to roots. Use more or less depending on hair length and thickness.  Do not rinse out. Style as desired with thermal protectant.

So the serum is a light and velvety feeling serum. It applies to the hair really easily. I found it does help the worst areas when applied to my wet hair. I liked this serum the most and found it the most helpful. I didnt need much product afterwards. 

Unwind curls, curling creme : Calms and loosens curls for softer, salon-perfect style that lasts all day. Place small amount of Crème into palm. Rub hands together. Work through wet or damp hair. For a looser curl, finger comb or stretch curls while drying.

This was really helpful for when i wanted to style using a spritz of water to give a loose curl. The creme really did prevent a frizz from appearing, also helped style my hair into looser curls. It doesnt feel heavy or sticky like some creams can. Its definatly a better alternative to mousse for me. It doesnt leave that crunch feel that most curling products leave. Also it washes out fully with ease. 

Go curlier, heat activating spray : Creates and tightens curls for bouncy, salon-smooth style that lasts up to 48 hours. Unlock trigger spray by flipping tab to right or left. Spray throughout Damp or Wet hair, not dry hair. Start with 10-16 sprays. Use more or less depending on hair length and thickness. Blow-dry with a diffuser. For best results, finish with curling tongs to create your desired style.

This was the product i found most difficult to use. I feel the pump needs a re-design. As i had a problem with it dispersing into a mist,which would be more suited. As curly hair can clump and harden with overuse of product. The hole in the cap seems quite small, so maybe a few more holes in the dispenser may assist this. 

Brilliant brunette - Liquid shine shock, perfecting glosser : Ultra-light formula polishes hair for high-gloss shine and flawless style. Smoothes flyaways, seals split ends and illuminates brunette tones. All shades of natural, colour-treated brunette hair. 

To lock in shine and seal split ends: rub a 10p-size* amount between palms and smooth evenly, through soaking wet hair concentrating on ends. Do not rinse out, Style as desired. For a high-gloss finish: rub a small amount between palms and smooth hands lightly over surface of dried hair.

* Use more or less product, depending on length and thickness of hair.

This really is an impressive addition for anyones haircare. My hair can look quite dull if its frizzy and over use of product is not what you need. This was an excellent product that really does only need a small amount, to give you hair a boost in between colouring. I did find that if i used a dry shampoo which is known to give some whitening to the hair. Using this on your dry hair can get rid of that dullness and also give my hair a new lease of life. This product is really impressive. I haven't used Frizz ease in a while but after this new introduction to the range, i won't be passing this step in my hair regime again.

My hair is loud, curly and proud. It doesnt fail in telling me this each day, i awaken to a mass of madness. My hair at the crown of my head, always wiggles free from his place then gestures me with a loving frizzy wave. I was kindly sent the Invisi-bobble to trial, also that its neon version will be available in Topshop.

The Invisibobble has various advantages to it:

- It is traceless

- Avoids headaches

- It is caring to the hair

- Wearable with all hair types

- Bracelet feature

- Traceless:

The traceless outcome lies in telephone cord shape. When worn it places uneven pressure, around the the ponytail. This  allows for the hair to be held.

- Avoiding headaches:

 Headaches when wearing your hair up, is a common problem. A hold that doesn't pull on hairs or the scalp.

- Caring:

They are caring to the hair, with no metal clip. The two ends are brought together smoothly. Suitable for any hair type. Can be worn as a bracelet when not in hair.

So i recieved 3 bobbles within the pack, which is very affordable. Now i wanted to see what 3 ladies thought, so i kept one then distributed 1 to my mother in law plus my sister in law. As we all use the usual hair ties, in time they become very loose and then snap. However the first use of normal hair ties, can be uncomfortable and a strain on the hair. Personally i can get migraines, from pulling my hair tight for long periods. I was interested to see if invisibobble would help.

So its Neon pink colour may look scary but within my dark hair, it blended in fine. I found that when i first used the invisi bobble, i admit i thought its too loose. As your instinct is to pull as tight as you can. When i let go on the final pull through, i was surprised to find my hair stayed where it was. It didn't feel loose or lax, nor did it during the day. When i asked my sister in law and mother in law there thoughts, they said pretty much the same thing on first use. It takes a while to get used to the strength this little bobble has.

There has been no visable damage to my hair whilst ive been using the invisi bobble. Also no headaches or uncomfortable pains, from my hair being pulled back. Again same feedback from my family, no headaches which is the main factor for us all. We all did agree we would purchase more neutral tones for our wrists as well, it can look a little teeny bop-perish. So we will be using the colours our hair is naturally or the clear ones on next purchase. Im so impressed with the invisibobble. I will be back to say how long the Invisi bobble lasts us all.

I have decided I would love to try the Titan 3.

The Titan 3 curling iron comes with 3 different barrel sizes, depending on the tightness of the curl you wish. So I'm thinking to use the big 32mm, for daily use to achieve bigger waves. Also using the 25mm to take small strands to add some definition. The 19mm attachment is going to help make really enhanced curls, giving dramatic volume and bounce. I'm excited to order the Titan 3 and show off all the styles I can achieve. 

MegaStar Straighteners

The straighteners I was looking at were the MegaStar.

So the second item that really jumped out at me were the Megastar Straighteners. As i really love the idea of trying straighteners, that will be "anti static" trying to protect the hair rather then damage it further. So this is another item I will be purchasing from NuMe and reviewing.
