My little friend Box - August Edition

Its summer and the sun has definatly been out and shining for all too see and enjoy. Along with sunshine come's the oppertunity to make amazing memories with family and friend's. This month's box  is inspired by friend's

Ive not had any experience of these attachments for phone's, so im eager to try this and see the difference (if any) it has on the picture's im able to capture. 

I will post some of the photo's I capture with this lense via my social media, as id love to know what you think.

Now whilst im happy with this kit as i dont own one and its a handy item to carry. I must say the presentation is spot on a 10/10 with top mark's to whomever designed this. 

- Beauty bag included within is Batiste hairspray, My little beauty lip balm and Kadalys creme

A great size hairspray from Batiste which is great for summer, as will keep my hair off my neck and face. There is a lovely size Kadalys creme to help keep your skin moisturised during the hot summer months. Then finally the My little beauty lip balm with SPF, always handy to have a lipbalm in your handbag so your lips stay looking plump and hydrated. 

- Bag of Propercorn popcorn 

Hand-popped corn with the perfect balance of sea salt and sweet brown sugar. Packed in an environment that packs nuts. May contain the occasional un-popped kernel. Suitable for vegans

- My little friend's Magazine 

As always the feature magazine from My little box. This has a front cover which has a "friends" illustration in keeping with this month's box. 

- A4 decorative card 

A "Girl power" themed card in keeping with the friends box. It's a fantastic blessing to have friends around you, plus handy to be reminded about how strong your friendships can be. 

Overall view 

I love the theme and box's presentation with the beautiful blue water and illustration. Also the content's are all fabulous handbag must haves, that we all at some point go on the hunt for. Again  the presentation is beautiful on the Nail kit and also the beauty bag with its heart design. I really enjoyed the popcorn treat that was included also and will be ordering some more. It was a really good box this month and I think it was put together well and fitted the theme, plus it had a lovely summery vibe. I cant wait to see whats in store for next month. 

My Summer Vibes box - June edition

So its that part of the month where "My little box" arrives. I get very excited and always wonder what french influenced goodies will be inside. Its called Summer vibe's this month, so a proper welcome for summer and the beautiful sunshine.

As always the feature magazine from My little box. This has a summery front cover which also model's the T-shirt's included within the box.

Again numerous item's illustrated in regards to summer and the beach. All these item's are classic thing's you would take to the beach, it has a handy tick box so you wont forget anything. 

- My Beauty bag {Waterproof Bikini bag}

This beauty bag is very Summery but the main difference, its waterproof instead of the monthly fabric bag. It says on it that its for Bikini's or swimwear after being used, so all your bag's content's remain protected from wet swimwear. 

- My little beauty beach hairspray, Too faced Glitter glue sample, Ciate mini Nail polish, Kusmi Tea

The My little beauty this month have given us a hair product, in the form of a beach hairspray. So i suspect its like a salt spray to give your hair that beach texture and appearance. 

The next sample is by Too faced and its one of the eye "primers", this is the glitter glue. Ive always wanted to try this as i have many pigment's that need a sticky base so this will be perfect. So happy to have this as a sample.

Ciate polish is really a great formula and these mini's are great for on the go. I have this colour already and would have loved a bright colour for summer, as this seem's like a very fall colour with muted tones. 

This tea is not what it seem's, its to make a litre of iced fruit tea. Hibiscus and berries is a fantastic flavour and a brilliant jug of refreshing beverage for this hot summer. I Suggest a big tumbler filled with this tea, cool and then add Ice with mint leaves and fresh fruit. (Allow tea to cool, or fruit will fall apart).

- "Girls just wanna have Sun" T-Shirt

This is not really a T-shirt on opening fully, its very much a tank top design and exactly as shown on the magazine. Really soft and well made T-shirt, slightly bigger size but its nice for summer then have it stick to me. Also slightly see through so I recommend either nude or a white bra for this top. 

Overall review

So this month I must say is beyond better then last month and improved upon the selection of beauty products. Im so happy with this month and I can use all the item's available within the box. Fantastic and back to its best, so im going to enjoy the hibiscus tea and give my skin some well needed sun rays. 

My flower box : April edition

So its that part of the month where "My little box" arrives. I get very excited and always wonder what french influenced goodies will be inside. Its called My flower box, so the obvious influence of Spring and waving goodbye to winter for another year.

Nail's Inc: Kensington Caviar base

How to apply: Apply one coat of Base Coat of Kensington Caviar to clean dry nails. Apply 2 coats of your chosen nail polish shade. Finish with one coat of Top Coat with Kensington Caviar

(Top Tip : If you suffer from weak or peeling nails, the caviar extract will help provide nourishment.) 

Rosee du matin: Masque detoxifiant

Each Box includes a brand new product by My Little Beauty. Our in-house beauty range. In creating our collection of products, we've used the best formulas, 

the most sought-after scents and the most brilliant colours.

- Pop up garden

This little box contains a surprise and be it a lovely presentation, i think this would be more suited for mothers with children to do. 

As it open's up into a miniature setting with a spongey material and packet of cress seed's. The end look will be the cress looks like grass and the lady will be riding her bike through. I think il gift this to a mini my little box lover.

- Travel bag for lingerie 

This is beautiful and just scream's french chic. Travelling or going anywhere you need to keep clean away from dirty or delicate's, then this soft well made bag is just the item you need. I was using plastic bags for this when i went into hospital, so it will be nice to have this little added luxury to keep my clean away from my dirty item's. 

- Flower issue magazine 

As always the feature magazine from my little box. This has the spring theme for the flower edition. 

I have to say the packaging for this month is beautiful and unique to any beauty box ive seen. Its a flip open book and inside are your item's. It seem's such a shame to have such beautiful packaging and then be so disappointed with the content's.

Firstly the mini flip up book garden to grow cress, which maybe great for all those green fingered ladies. However its not something id use and i was very disappointed this was one of the item's. The lingerie bag is beautiful and I know I will get so much use out of this when im in hospital. Also at home it can be kept to keep my silk dressing gown in to protect from damage. So this is a great item I really love.

The beauty bag was good in one way that l'occtaine cherry blossom shower gel is my favourite product. I love to try new item's and brand's, yet its a quality brand so I shouldn't complain much. The  Nail's inc. polish a base coat that help's nourish. It's not a product I would use as i have a base and top coat already. The last item is from my little beauty's own brand of products. It is a facial exfoliating mask, something we seem to be getting alot of. The beauty bags seem to be following the same pattern, it would be nice to see more french brands plus makeup. Im not sure if its because ive been subscribed from the begining that I expect more, as Ive seen my little box at its best. Other then the boxes exterior, this month was not very wow for me. 

My little Bubble box - March edition

After last month's amazing box and My little box getting back to how it was orginally, unique mixed some sparkle. I was looking forward to this month's box and even more so when i saw the theme. So let's dive into the March edition to see what we have been given.

This is a cute and fun addition to the usual inspiration card. I will give this to my little nephew when he comes over next week, as i think this is one of those small little thing's that bring laughter to a day. 

- Bubble magazine & Hairbrush

This month's magazine is so cute and then along with the first item within the box, which is a hairbrush just made me excited to see the rest of the contents. It was definitely something I wanted to buy, as I hate taking my ghd paddle brush out because its so big. 

I might be really geeky or a lover of retro style beauty item's, I really love this brush. Its cute and lightweight which makes it ideal for taking with you travelling.

- Makeup sponge

Im really excited for this product. Now whilst most will argue "it cant beat the market leader", I believe everything is worth a try. So for my next few look's, I will use this and report how well it does and compare it. 

- Beauty bag (incl Givenchy mascara, Garancia peel spray, My little beauty cheek & lip bubble tint)

- Givenchy mascara : now this is the kind of french makeup every once in a while id love to see. Believe me Yves Rocher was lovely but its not the only brand.

- My little beauty cheek & lip bubble tint : I put a swatch above of the colour and blended pigment of this tint. It is thick and you do need to work it as soon, as its in the skin or it can leave a outline mark. 

- Garancia peel spray : This is a totally new brand for me and upon reading the information card, it sounds really unique and a timesaver in your skincare routine.

This box again did not fail to deliver and was packed full of amazing item's. I will use all of the content's and loved how it was brought together. The hairbrush is cute, easy to travel with and just feels long wearing. The makeup sponge is something I am going to do a post on, il compare against the two top branded ones on the market. The beauty bag was the biggest surprise so far, as I wasn't expecting to see a Givenchy mascara and a skincare item that sounds like a timesaving dream. 

This box is amazing and the design is probably by far the best so far. Its a beautiful set of pastel colours with a rollergirl then retro style "My bubble box" writing. It just couldn't have been a better box this month. Three cheer's to the My little box this month and bring on next month. 

My little Box ; Home February edition

This months box arrived and a little early which is a nice surprise. Being inspired by the home and spring coming, which can mean change and new beginning's. I know within our home we always look to make changes, be it to brighten and improve our surroundings.

This cushion cover is a lovely spring shade of light yellow. The My little beauty chevron design will make for a nice change, however it might only suit homes with non patterned cushions. I cant say it blended in with my leaf designed one's. So i may get a plain cushion and have it for my makeup chair.

Now this is the part of my box im starting to really love again. A proper magazine to the touch, with it's  handy tips and stories. 

- Photo frame & Artwork

I was quite impressed seeing the framed inspirational card within the box. If you had wished to frame the picture then it's saved precious time. I myself love the picture and really like the frame which is sturdy and well made. 

However like the cushion i cant see a place for this framed piece to go. I may more then likely use the frame for a family picture. It seems a shame as i love the artwork. It would make an excellent house warming gift.

So all in all I would have to say im not really impressed with my box. Its not the worst and I do love the picture frame, magazine and the presentation of these item's. However the beauty bag is again full of cream. 

This month I was craving to try more makeup as with skincare, Im pretty much stocked with things to try till summer. I hope My little box improve's the beauty bag's content's, as im only subscribing for the other lifestyle items.

Now was it just me or did this month seem a little light on products? Im going to wait till next month to see if i continue with my subscription.

Happy new year to all, also how fantastic is the start off box just released by "My little box". I really am excited by this new box and cant wait to show you the content's.

Wish Magazine - Finally we have our beloved bound magazine back, hopefully it's here to stay. I loved this style of magazine layout, I was not a fan of the fold out paper version. (This format's so popular, I really hope it stays for good.)

Inspiration card - "All your dream's can come true, If you have the courage to persue them" by Walt disney. This is the perfect quote to start the new year with and only make's new year resolutions stronger. 

Beauty bag :

- REN : 3 in 1 Cleanser

2016 Diary - This diary is unbelievable in quality. Hardbacked book with inspirational weekly words, quoting and reminder's. The corner's are removable so locating the week is made easier and each month is colour coded. This diary has blown me away with the quality, its just one of the reason's why "My little box" is so unique. 

Inspiring bracelet's - These bracelet card's can be pulled apart, then given to close family & friend's. There is one included for yourself as a reminder for you new year resolution. They are really cute and i cant wait to hand them out.

This months box is really fantastic and the quality is beyond what i expected. The diary alone is hardback and an item i can see myself using for the year. Just as much as i cant wait to hand out the card's within gifts or to friends whom need perking up. The beauty item's were high quality with REN and Garnier, however i would have loved to see more makeup as we have been swamped in cream's the past couple of month's.
