Zbox limited edition - Bombshell's Edition

Im a huge comic book lover. The ultimate series I love are the DC bombshells, Harley Quinn being my absolute favourite. So when Zavvi advertised a limited edition box (500 only), I jumped right on an pre-ordered my box. This box was such an exciting and must have for me.
AboutHey Puddin’! Celebrate all things Bombshells with this limited edition box. Let’s face it, whether you side with the heroines or the renegades of the group, you can’t deny that these ladies are pretty super! This mystery box is packed with DC Bombshells merchandise & collectables.

Zbox : DC Bombshells content's :
- No 1 Bombshell's comic
- Bombshell's coaster's set
- Harley Quinn T-Shirt
- Limited edition print (500 print's)
- POP Vinyl figure (54 Harley Quinn)
- Bombshells Mug (Wonder woman)
- No 1 Bombshell's comic
I already subscribed to the bombshells comic series. As the DC universe rebooted the #52's and being an avid Harley quinn collector, I had to subscribe to the beautiful strong and vibrant bombshell women. So for me this is an additional copy that I can keep or pass on, if anyone's collection is mising this iconic issue.
- Harley Quinn T-Shirt
I was so excited to see a t-shirt in my box, it was folded so I could not see which bombshell I was given. So I asked my husband to open it, twist it around as a reveal. When I saw it was my heroine Harley, well i near fell off the sofa in excitement and joy. I have this design as a full sized framed work in my bedroom. So definitely a fantastic addition to my box.
- Limited edition print (500 print's)
Im guessing as the bottom says its of 500, that this is exclusive too this box only. Im not sure if its the same or if everyone got a slightly different variants. I love the fact Wonder Woman is being toured and in awe of AquaWoman's kingdom. Unique amazing print which is sealed to keep it in mint condition.
- Bombshell's coaster's set
I love how these strong women are on these coaster's, they will brighten up my living room table. Im excited to open them and set upon my table, however a part of me really doesn't want to use them.
- POP Vinyl figure (54 Harley Quinn)
I love POP vinyl figures and again another addition to my Harley family of collectables. I haven't got this number so im happy it was not an additional one that I had. Plus being the Arkham version makes her even more special to me as I love that game.
- Bombshells Mug (Wonder woman)
Now whilst this is not the Harley version, im actually happy as I have the Harley edition. So it's nice to have another of the bombshell ladies for my mug. I would have loved poison ivy as she is Harley's partner in crime but I can alway's purchase her mug and make a full collection.
- Overall view
So this box took a while to arrive as was a present from my husband. It kept being delayed with no information until the box was ready. Once paid for the delivery was quick. I was disappointed the actual shipping box was the bombshells box and there wasnt a separate one to keep incase this box was damaged. As the art work inside is beautiful plus its so big, so i may find a way to turn the art into a feature on my shelf. I love this box and so glad I purchased it as there are item's here that I truly love. The coasters and T-shirt are amazing addition's, plus to have a limited edition print included makes it really special.

Surprise box club - April edition

This is my first month of using this subscription box. I'm really excited as I hate to be bored. Ive just got my passion back for writing and now im hoping this will show me new ways of crafting.

About : Welcome to Surprise Box Club – an exciting subscription box club for crafters and wannabe crafters. Join and every month you receive a fantastic box of crafting goodies delivered straight to your door. In every box there is an exclusive jewellery kit and craft kit for you to make up and impress your friends. There are written instructions or links to video clips so that we can do the crafts together.
And there’s more you will build up a collection of jewellery pliers, in month 3 you will receive your charm bracelet kit and one charm (after this you will find a new charm in every box) and I have lots of other exciting surprises throughout the year just to make sure that this really is ‘Happy Mail’.

- Tassel necklace kit
Have fun making this tassel and choose your necklace length to suit your style.
Video tutorial:
Contents included are for a tassel necklace and also some paper pompom's. If this is your first box then you will also recieve 3 pliar's which builds up each month to become a full set. Then in box 3 youll start to be able to make your own charm bracelet, with charms added in every box following.
So in making the tassel Necklace I followed the written instructions,to see if I could do this and how easy its explained. It was very well explained and I managed to make my necklace without having to refer to the video. I found this was a really therapeutic crafting exercise. I did find some parts fiddly, as I have less strength in one hand too hold the pliar's.
My finished necklace
However I managed it and was really a great feeling when i had made it. I was so happy with the finished necklace and I have enough chain to make a matching tassel bracelet. I just need to get another clasp set for this which is a small price to pay.

- Pompom decorations
Bright & impressive pompoms. Great as a party decoration or simply to add a splash of colour and fun to a room.
Video tutorial:
http://www.surpriseboxclub.com/april-box-tissue-paper-pompoms/

My finished pompom
This was a easy craft to do, I made mine  a pink/white tissue paper mix. I felt the colours would pop more, also would go great with just purely pink or white if being made for a party. The main tip given which is important and noted on the sheet, is to go slow when separating the layers of tissue. Some did slightly tear and it was fine as they do add dimension if not perfectly tipped. Some looked thinner which made it more believable as a pompom. I would say that if your wanting to hang these then after your knot around the paper, then add your hanging string. As it would be such a pain when all fanned out to try and thread a string plus the tissue will rip to shreads.

My thought's on this month's box
I really enjoyed this box. The crafting was amazing for me, I found an amazing joy and reward in making something myself. Ive always loved making item's but never tried jewellery, as I didnt think i had the skill's. I guess Triinu is right in that she can teach anyone interested in this field of crafting. I took a few bits of felt to make something beautiful and felt accomplished in doing so. The pompom's are fun and I can see myself helping teach others to make these for event's. Just what a pleasure this box is, im loving it and cant thank Triinu enough for allowing me to review for "Surprise box club".

More about the boxes creator :
My name is Triinu and I’m passionate about sharing my crafting skills.I originally trained as a silversmith and jeweller and over the years have branched out into many other crafts.
I set up Surprise Box Club because I love teaching and helping other people craft fabulous creations. Crafting is a fantastic way to de-stress, relax and to generally feel good about yourself and your achievements. It can also be a great way to bond with your new friends. Sending you happy thoughts, happy crafting and happy mail.

Prudence and Crow : April edition (Classic fiction choice)

I really love book's and I am so happy that I found this subscription box. I love the classic literature and want to expand my collection. Im so excited for this subscription each month.

About : We are Prudence and the Crow, otherwise known as Abigail Shaw and Peggy Seymour, both from London. We love books. We have been working together online for sixteen years and believe wholeheartedly in the power of the internet to enable the greatest geekery and most joyful post. You may well have encountered us in the past in the guise of Mymble's Minion and The Mymble's Daughter.

We wanted a subscription service that would send us an amazing vintage paperback book every month along with added fun and surprises. There wasn't one so we made one. Our aim is to share our love of the content and aesthetic of previously loved paperback books with likeminded people from all over the world. Starting on the 13th of every month we send out exciting book boxes to our wonderful subscribers containing a vintage paperback book, a handmade book bag, a library card to catalogue their growing collection and added surprises.

April's Edition 2016
Content's :
- Vintage book
- Book bag
- Provisions envelope (Includes 2 Pukka tea's and 2 Moam sweet's)
- Vintage treat's (Includes Art postcard with reading list, 3 stamps, Penny and library card number)

This amazingly decorated envelope arrived with my first subscription and contained another envelope inside.
This next envelope is decorated and has handwritten the content's were specifically picked for you. (Pictured as above).

Vintage book & Book bag
This book is so amazingly presented and I have not got this edition either, so its fantastic to have a good book to read. Its been picked via the option's I chose when I subscribed. So you can pick what interest's you the most. I love that the book bag will protect my book, so I can take it in my bag with no fear of it becoming damaged.
Vintage treat's : Art postcard & Penny
This postcard is gothic art which I love and the book list on the back makes it great. I love finding new books to read and this list helps me find one's I may love. The penny included is in a collecting packaging to protect the coin. It has a saying on how pennies are used, I believe that sending a new purse as a gift you should include a coin. Its a little tradition of luck i have. So this is just amazing and truly a well picked item for me.
Vintage treat's : 3 stamps
The bag that all the items are in is a orange striped paper bag, with a star sticker to keep all the items within the bag. I love collecting items that i can use in my scrapbook or planner. The space and flower stamp's are beautiful and unique, I will be adding these to my scrapbook as collecting items. The space card is very unique and I do love sci-fi items and watch it on tv. So its great that I have a mix of classic fiction and sci-fi in my subscription.
Vintage treat's : Art postcard with reading list & library card number
The library card shows the edition number of the month and can be used as a bookmark. Also loving the list books that is on the back of my postcard.
Provisions envelope (Includes 2 Pukka tea's and 2 Moam sweet's)
This was the biggest surprise as its so clever and true, I love to have a calming cup of tea whilst reading. Plus having a sweet is a treat, as I do love to read during the day and the evening. This is a lovely treat that I wasn't expecting.

So overall, I love my new subscription to Prudence and crow. It gives me a new book every month and extra's which are hand picked. It feel's so personal to me and my passion's. Im loving that im finding new a exciting, unique subscription boxes.

Happy Scrappie subscription - March Edition

Since getting back into planning, writing and my general passion for all item's of stationary. I have also subscribed to Happie Scrappie, which again is a monthly envelope jam packed with cute and practical item's. This is my first review of the Subscription service and I also have a post coming about the Grab bag I purchased.

About : Are you a Happie Planner?
We are a monthly subscription, the Happie Planner kit, which has a selection of planner related products with coordinating themes and variations in each kit. The idea of having a planner kit is to allow all the Happie Planners to get a bit of a lot of things, and the kits will include a selection of samples of fun products, just what you need. Our March 2016 kit is calling all you planner girls and stationery addicts. March's box featured all the planner girls' favourite: #stationeryaddict #penhoarder #washitapelove. If you are a planner girl who can never have enough pens and washi tapes, March's box is a favourite.

Content's : (A5 planner edition)
 - 1 sampler pack of A5 sized inserts (20 sheets, insert size: 148mm x 210mm, option of punched or unpunched)

- 1 Dashboard
- 1 Pagemarker

- 1 Planner Sticker Sampler
- Stationery Themed wood trinkets (with adhesive backing)

- 1 Magnet bookmark
- 1 Mini Tassel
- 1 Stationery gel pen (random design)
- 1 Page Flags
- 1 Mailer box (In picture above)

- Pagemarker
This page marker can be used to keep your place within any planner, secured with a paper clip or hole punched if required. I personally use these on my current week as a page finder, the write list's for shopping or item's easily forgotten for the week ahead. I do love to make list's so i really like this item and it's compactness.
- Mini Tassel
Green is my favourite colour and my new planner just so happens to be green also. This is my first charm so im a little lost as to what i can use it for. Im sure i can ask the planner community what would I use and also adapt this item.

- Magnet bookmark
Okay yes this is too cute and adorably me. It's already in my planner and my day lights up just seeing my creativity come to fruition. This little magnet sums up my current state of mind, in that i can accomplish anything.
- Dashboard
I love dashboards as they are so versatile. They can replace a boring or non relevant planner divider, also be kept within the mailer envelopes so you have a  selection to choose from when you tire of a current dashboard. Perfect addition to this month's parcel.

- Planner Sticker Sampler
These sticker's are fun, vibrant, cute and have some great reminders relevant for any one's month. I love sticker's and I can never have enough so when i have some like this sent to me, they go in my travel storage case unti they are used.

Stationery wood trinkets (with adhesive backing)
These little wooden trinkets are so adorable that if you didnt want them in your planner (only because they are so pretty), on show then they would be perfect to decorate your desk, pencil case or another item.
- Sampler pack of A5 sized inserts (20 sheets size: 148mm x 210mm, punched or unpunched)

The sampler pack holds 20 sheets of double sided printed paper. It has different designs on each, some pages are lined-squared-patterned boxes etc. So each month the art work on the sampler pack matches the theme. So this month the samplers were filled with the cute stationary characters. Great additions for planner need's from list making to just jazzing up a section.

- Page Flags
Page flags are my absolute favourite item aboit being a planner addict. It's an easy way to mark important weeks within your planner, using cute and colourful tags. Plus with the never ending choice of design you can change to the season or event.
- Stationery gel pen (random design)
This pen is a very cute and clever in that the lid is painted like its a pencl and under the lid is a concealed pen. I Love having an extensive pen, pencil set in which i can change up my style to fit my mood or even just the thickness and colour. A writer can never have too many pen's or stationary.

Personal Sized kits -
- Page size : 95mm x 171mm
 Personal A5 kit's -

- Page size: 148mm x 210mm (A5 / Half Letter sized)
The price of the kits is as follows:

Planner passion - whats coming soon ?

Being a lover of writing and now owing my own A5 planner as well as a Webster's personal size and paperchase filofax. I can safely say the world of planning is just currently - one huge candy shop to me. One is for my hospital & medical commitments then another is for financial dates. This is where stickers help our household has a sticker colour to know each direct debit.

I have no restaints when it comes to obtaining supplies as i dont have much. However i must say the planning community is one of the kindest and most open group of women.

They will openly assist a planner in need, to which im so grateful for. Plus having recieved a RAK (random act kindness) off some of the group members, it really does make me feel part of a bigger picture. I cant wait to start returning the RAK love. 💖
So my must haves for planning are stickers, note-pad's and list pad of my choice. Loads of pen's and pencils so I can quickly jot down idea's. I have now a pouch to keep my pen's and also my sticker's so they are not unorganised.

Plus each planner i like to give its own look so I have different sets per planner, so its easy having one area to store this. I will need another one as the A5 stationary is bigger, I also tend to use more coloured ink pen's and within my fountain pen.

So I have 2 planner subscription boxes winging there way over and I cannot tell you how excited I am for the review's.
Also i have an upcoming review on Aldi's latest release's and the quality of its products.

So happy planning 😃 xx
