Memebox : Beauty splurge with Lisa pullano

Another Memebox review and its a collaboration box. Now i have quite a few Memebox reviews coming this week, from a set of princesses to the cutest products.

They say :
This fall, we teamed up with YouTube superstar and beauty guru Lisa Pullano to bring you a major dose of K -Beauty! This exclusive box is a perfect transition from Summer to Fall, and we couldn't be more excited to share this epic collaboration with you.

Contents :
- Its skin : Macaroon lip balm in pineapple
- Hope girl : Lipstick in Pink pops
- Its skin : Baby face blusher
- L.vida nail polish : Milk chocolate shade
- Lailly : Steam pore mask
- Tosowoong : Makeon gel liner in Maple syrup
- Insobeau : Ultra skin power Z cream

Its skin Macaroon lip balm is the most adorable item I've seen, what its skin has become known for. I just love fruity scents and products, so to recieve the pineapple was fantastic. I cannot wait to use this product. Winter is not kind to lips.

L.vida nail polish is such a well presented product. The colour is beautifully appropriate for fall and can be easily paired with a bright colour. Lovely choice.

Lailly Steam pore mask is a thick pore clearing mask. Perfect for oily prone skins and anyone whom suffers with there pores. Its not a product ive tried or will use in winter, as i need very hydrating forms of cleansing. From what ive read though it seems to be a very good product.

Hope girl : Lipstick in Pink pops this is my first lipstick and the vibrant colour is stunning. I would have loved the lavender but im not too upset. I hope it gives a good moisturing and pigmented finish.

Tosowoong : Makeon gel liner in Maple syrup. I have a set of these liners and they are the best gel liner ive used. Creamy and vibrant colour to the waterline, with no irritation. Maple syrup is one of my favourites from my set, so to have a back up is fantastic. Id recommend these to anyone.

Insobeau : Ultra skin power Z cream ive heard is an amazing cream for hydration. This is why i purchased the box, as i heard the cream offered light, absorbent qualities. This is what i look for in winter skincare, as cream absorbs slowly in the cold weather. Im excited about this product.

Conclusion
So overall i really like this collaboration box. It has an amazing cream to try for my dry winter skin. A beautiful duo of items from Its skin, being the macaroon and blusher. I like the lipstick shade and am pleased i recieved an additional Makeon gel liner in my favourite colour. The only product i will probably need to wait to try is the face pack, which is not great shame in the light of what i recieved. Im very happy with this box and the products picked.

Simple skincare

Simple is a well known and respected brand. Known for its motto "Kindness to skin" which also includes anyone with sensitive skin. Reliable and always a brand you can turn too if your skin needs, hydration to cleansing.

They say ; Simple® was born in the UK in the 1960s and was the first skincare brand to formulate a product that contained no colour and no perfume; designed to care for sensitive skin.  Simple have been the experts in sensitive skin since launching. Staying committed to our philosophy, as our product range has grown. To be the UK’s No.1 Facial Skincare brand.

We don’t want to overcomplicate things, we believe good skincare should fit around you. We've pioneered a kinder approach to skin. We really understand skin, plus the everyday challenges it faces. Skin deserves only the kindest care.

Protecting moisture Cream

They say ; Regular use of a moisturiser is essential, to boost skin hydration levels.
Our special blend of moisturising goodness includes Pro-Vitamin B5, Vitamin E, Sunscreens etc. This helps to moisturise, soften and nourish the skin. Our Protecting Moisture Cream is a perfect blend, to help to defend your skin against the environment. Keeping it replenished all day long, even sensitive skin types.

After using this as my daily moisturisers and also I found it calms my skin. When im having a day where my skin has more need for hydration. This is perfect as it absorbs at a rate, so I don't need to keep adding layers. It will protect and calm my skin. Plus a little goes a long way, especially considering its a cream.

Illuminating radiance cream

They say : Instant radiance boost, infused with multi-vitamins, skin loving ingredients and light reflecting minerals for immediate natural radiant looking skin with UVA/UVB SPF 15 protection. Perfect even for sensitive skin.

I really found the illuminator was a good base. Whilst it was great as a primer and added a great base. It was not really noticeable in other ways for me. If your using natural makeup with just the illuminator, it will give a more alive glow to the skin. Full makeup will mask the glow it's trying to give.

Blackhead eliminating face scrub

They say ; Spotless Skin (Blackhead Eliminating) Face Scrub is the perfect blend, of antibacterial and cleansing to remove dead skin cells and impurities. Our blend of antibacterial and cleansing contain's Zinc PCA, Chamomile, Witch Hazel. A natural anti-bacterial, which helps to absorb excess oil and fight spots and blackheads.

I am lucky not to need oil absorption. I will use it however when my skin is dry, I need to remove some flaky areas. It would be no more then 3 times a week if I needed too. As scrubs need too be used with care.

I have my 1 day each week, where I will use a treatment and this scrub to really clean my skin. I'm very lucky in that water and coconut or natural light soap, is all I've needed. However as I'm getting older, I am finding having a good skincare regime plus more is needed. I would probably use this more in the winter, when my skin is at its driest. On using I have found that it doesn't irritate like some scrubs I've tried. However this is all relative to how hard you use this product. I will rub very gently to protect my skin under the dry layer. This is I think advisable with all scrubs. I would have this as a regular scrub as it does what I need it for and is affordable.

I'm always impressed with Simple products and never let down. I love Simple wipes for travel and when I'm in hospital, I feel they really clean my skin. So I'm not surprised that the quality was as good. Simple are trusted and they make affordable quality skincare. I really enjoyed these products.

Zenmed - Skincare review

Now Zenmed is a company not known by many here in the UK, but it's well renound in the USA. I had a look at there very informative, educating website plus the product range. Navigation on the website is clear for certain skin conditions. When I was asked if I'd like to try some for my skin issues, i was thrilled.

I have scarring along with psoriasis during times of the year, so my skin when not flared can lack pigmentation. So when I was reading the product information, I aimed to sample something for dry skin plus help my scarring I have. I was so kindly sent these and they have lasted me so long. They have also helped by preventing very dry days, assisting the moisturiser to really absorb. So being able to maintain this moisture level, through a hugely stressful month held off a flare up from becoming worse. (Psoriasis can cover more area of the body during a "flare up" , caused usually by stress/infection/ allergies etc).

- Renewing microdermabrasion complex

They say ;
This granular formulation is based in a mineral-heavy clay designed specifically to provide intensive dermabrasion on the surface of the skin. Does not leave any residue or greasiness. Ideal for use before treatments such as the Skin Eraser as it allows for better penetration of actives. Soap-free cleansing using the benefits of smooth Montmorillonite clay.

- This was probably my favourite product from the three I tested. It's a clay mask with small exfoliators within, so on removal it takes the excess dead skin away. Fantastic for if you have dry patches and want that soft feeling, before applying makeup or just general routine. I was so impressed and it made me feel so relaxed on application. Real feel of a spa mask, with the cleanliness you feel on removal is second to none. I definatly noticed my skin absorbed better after using this mask, as there was no dead skin in the way. However my skin was so absorbant that I would apply a serum/lotion, it would sink in that quickly I'd apply more thinking it was not enough. I didn't have that uncomfortable feeling of cream not absorbing at night and just sitting on the surface. Really think its a real asset to me, as minerals really help psoriasis plus the exfoliation is assisting removal of dead skin cells.

- AVT Cream

They say ;
Revamped and improved! This product is renowned for its creaminess and soothing, anti-aging properties. With the addition of skin boosting peptides (Matrixyl), Hyaluronic Acid, and powerhouse healing oils Argan, Jojoba and Borage, this is the skin repairing moisturizer for dry, damaged, mature, and troubled skin. Ideal for damaged skin tissues commonly seen with Rosacea.

- This is the lotion I used everyday, also if my skin had become dry in between the day/night regime. It's really nice so I depotted some into my handbag "cream tin", to have for when I'm at appointments. I loved how it was thick, then went so light on contact with the skin. It was easily absorbed and felt calming to massage in. Instant hydrating relief if your skin is not having a good day. Would recommend if your getting a treatment system, that needs a hydrating moisturising product.

- Skin eraser

They say ;
Ascorbic-Glycolic-Lactic acid fortified treatment effectively exfoliates the upper layers of the skin helping minimize imperfections, dullness, hyperpigmentation, discoloration, bumpiness and fine lines and wrinkles.

- This product called the Skin eraser was to help with dullness, pigmentation issues etc. Totally new concept to me but I was very intrigued. It was best used I found after the microdermabrasion scrub with my evening routine. I did have a sense of tingling which subsided and left no breakouts or led me to stop. I just assumed my skin had such a full clean, that any cream would produce that tingly sensation.  So with my dullness I can see some improvements and my skin is not showing so many "ashy purple" areas. I've been ill lately so I'm not looking my best, but I've been told I've looked worse. So maybe it's helped in that small way. The pigmentation on the cheek areas I had are amazingly starting to fade. I don't have to conceal as harshly, plus I can choose a lighter coverage of foundation if I wished. I also noticed my nose is not as red, so I only use a tiny bit of concealer to balance the area. It's amazing how it was the main area I drew too conceal, then cover my face fully. Now I have options and can use less heavy makeup for the summer. Also with my cheeks not being so dry, the application of my makeup has been easier.

Honestly I didn't think these products would perform as well as they have and just assumed a minor change. However  they have calmed my skin's problem areas,to a level I'm now comfortable. I don't stress about hiding the now minor areas on my face. I love the clay mask and will use this form of product to prepare my skin in future. As makeup is not going to cling to flaky patches and make me feel conscious. I can remove the smallest dry patches, you wouldn't know about until you come to apply your makeup. Makeup is a wonderful therapy to me, so having a smooth canvas to start with is alway a bonus.

Heaven - Tinted moisturiser

So I have not heard of this natural company called heaven, i was intrigued when I saw they needed reviewer to test the tinted moisturiser. Then were so lovely they even sent me a bee venom to try. I'm so grateful to them for putting there trust in my blog.

The Ethos

As a qualified teacher in beauty therapy I run my very own Heaven training school for therapists from all over the world. My in-depth knowledge of the spiritual and healing side of health and beauty also brings a unique addition to my training skills. Highly acclaimed with numerous awards for both treatments and products I have had and have the pleasure of treating many celebrities from the world of music, film, sport and even royalty and qualified to provide tips on all manner of issues including: acne, anti-ageing, nutrition, hormonal problems, post natal depression, healing, hair loss, reflexology, colonics, semi-permanent make-up for cancer patients and stress; treating everything holistically, looking at internal and external influences to get to the root cause of health and beauty issues.
By using Heaven's all-natural organic range of products you will see spots and blemishes improve while keeping a youthful complexion. Feel the difference immediately and check your complexion after five days - the results are remarkable. With Heaven, you can realise your own natural beauty.  Be healthy, happy and your skin will radiate beauty:

So first of all the packaging is more on the high end side and defiantly impressed. It comes wrapped in a box of white and black the initial on the top. Then its securely inside is cardboard casing with the Heaven glass jar. Now I was highly impressed, as this was a well thought of packaging to ensure your product looks good, plus a joy to show.
On opening you can see this is a fully filled jar by the plastic cover being completely covered and on opening there is a lot to scoop back in the jar. Hence the big amount on swatching, this is what I slid off my finger after scraping all the lid excess into the jar. I kept the plastic lid as it still could barrier the main lid from product. I was impressed also the colour is darker then the actual picture as the flash did lighten it. However it does blend out so if your pale or tanned this will be fine. I chose to use the lightest part of my body which is my inner arm to swatch plus blend out to show the final colour.
I'm impressed as it doesn't oxidise and it doesn't take long to blend. I feel its a luxurious cream which does add a lovely glow to the skin without being over bearing. Also not a type of tinted moisturiser that slides off and feels heavy in the heat.

I really enjoy this product from heaven and I will use this in a look I'm doing, also post the pictures of my looks. As I'm doing very neutral looks and artistic. You can see above in the picture, me with heaven tinted moisturiser applied and how light it is, plus the colour looks dark but blends really well.
I tried the bee venom and its a nice rich moisturiser in a little jar, I really love this and I prefer to use a little in the evening or under the makeup.  This was really lovely and I will fully review this when I'm finished with my current skincare reviews.

--- So thank you Heaven cosmetics. ---

NUXE Review - Creme fraiche de beaute

A parisian award winning company, NUXE is by far the most interesting companies to watch in terms of exciting innovation. Within there company the strive to get the best of what nature can offer and believe it holds properties in which we can help build and improve upon the health of our skin.
Sourcing the finest natural ingredients and refraining from the use of mineral oil, animal products and parabens, they take a sustainable approach to the production of there products.
Plus they also support the campaign, A home for Bees.

They say
A natural company with the influence in that plants are therapeutic and building upon the philosophy of 5 natural points and a philosophy of Beauty by Nature.

  • Nature as my inspiration. As an inexhaustible source of effectiveness and creativity, it is key to my vision of cosmetics.
  • Innovation as a motor. Since its creation, NUXE has had its very own R&D laboratory. Today, there are 37 patents in submission and others are being studied.
  • Evaluation as standard. A product is only launched if its safety and effectiveness are proven through rigorous testing and objectives carried out under dermatological supervision.
  • Accessibility as a major focus. The most effective treatments are not always the most expensive. I therefore strive to offer consumers high-performance products at the right price.
  • Sensoriality as a foundation. In order to blend effectiveness and regularity of use, I am very conscious of creating delightful textures, delicate fragrances and enchanting names.

Leading in the field of cosmetic research and holding a record of 70 awards, you can trust the NUXE has taken the time and really gone the distance with each product it releases.
I was kindly sent the new "Creme Fraiche de Beaute" to review, described as a botanical milkshake to moisturise and Sooth the skin for 24hours. Which is what my skin is in need of now that its the end of the dry period winter had plagued upon me. I can use NUXE to replenish the skin in hopes that the 24 hour system rings true. As it will save me time in having to reapply during the day.

Creme Fraiche de Beaute Light - 24 hour soothing Emulsion
Quenches and Matifies for Combination Sensitive Skins

Main points
Light formula for combination skin, stays matte all day
Use morning or evening after cleansing
Ideal makeup base
Contains rice powder to soak up excess oils

This light formula is aimed at combination skin however I'm a drier skin, i think its a lovely product , it stays matte so i find that i can use it as a moisturiser and double up on my priming. As this makes sure i have moisture and is ideal as a base too which will suit me more for summer months. The rice powder it has contained makes it ideal for oily skins, as it will soak up excess and your makeup won't slide during the day. Plus i found it to absorb so well on application , that i used it in the evening when we have been getting the odd humid night to just moisturise my skin intensely. Its a gel like consistency and you only need a little for it to cover the face evenly. Plus it doesn't take ages to absorb.
Then when absorbed i know my face will be protected. Im loving its a multi-use product and i just love having it on my dresser. The ability to if i want a light brush of makeup i can use this as a primer as its so weightless on the skin, then also as a hydrator for night time after i cleanse.

Creme Fraiche de Beaute / Normal - Sensitive skins
Moisturising cream

So the claims are that with Active ingredients, mostly being 8 plant milks plus
aloe vera sap, you know from the addition of milk and aloe alone this is for hydrating. I used to use aloe for my sunburns. So that being said plus the claims it will reinforce the skins moisture levels, I was interested to see if this was actually true. The texture is a very light, plus absorbed quickly on application. This was very evident on my skin, however being if a dry category. I can read a good cream by its absorption and if it leaves a residue from just sitting there instead.
So it did leave my skin feeling moisturised. As will lock this in and soak up, without being uncomfortable or feeling a residue. The scent you might think will bring you out in a rash or breakout, however on reading the ingredients, I found the scent was intact the oils contained in the cream. The almond is not so prominent but the light hit if orange is, without being over-powering.
With all these natural ingredients being merged to form the best cream to cater women and men who love natural products that work. I can find allergy season to be just as challenging with itchy skin, It's reduced my irritation fully. I'm already a good halfway into my tub from constant use this week.

x Holy Grail Item from Tara's Treats x
Rive de Miel - Lip moisturising stick
for dry chapped lips

Now this wasn't sent for a review, but i did want to show you that this lip balm is my holy grail.
Now this is my makeup staple I wanted to show you. I buy this every winter as it really moisturises and feels amazing on the lips. It's made with Argan oil, Shea butter, nut oils and loads of natural goodness.

It's smells of honey lightly and has Vitamin E. I use this as its fantastic to apply a little before adding your makeup, as when it comes time to add your lipstick. The lips will be moist and make the application of your lip colours easier. Especially with a Matte formula lipsticks, as I find matte does enficise the dryness. You might think I'm a little mad but it lasts age, doesn't coat the lips so you feel it sitting uncomfortably. It just soaks in and when you rub your lips, that's when you can feel it still there.
So no need to keep on and on, applying through the day.

So there you have it, I love NUXE as its facial oil and Lip balm make my winter skin so much happier, but these new products just take me to a whole new realm of exploration. I cannot wait to try some more of these collections, as its becoming clear that my skin does love them.

Nourish Skincare - Protect Mini Kit Review

http://www.nourishskinrange.com

Nourish is a vegan and impressive range of skincare, inspired by mother nature herself.
Cleanse, Tone and moisturising steps matched with your core skin type.
Then the nurturing step of adding concentrated peptides will have you skin shouting "Hoorah"
with summer somewhat wanting to burst through the sky, all our skins are a little confused plus dehydrated and not enjoying this period of the year. So now you get your skin radiant with hydration and balance. Plus its vegan and Nature friendly.

Nourish Nature and Nurture

Our skin is a dynamic organ, not simply a surface, but an active interface between our outside world and our inside world, affected every day by both internal and external influences. The way our skin reacts to those influences, how it looks and ages, is most influenced by two factors: core skin type and lifestyle. So we have designed Nourish, a natural, anti-ageing skincare range that is perfect for daily skin care needs (Nature), but also helps you optimise your skin's health around the life you lead (Nurture).

Nourish Mini Kit - Nourish protect for Dry skin types

So going by the above statement from the company website we can see here the 4 Core types they cater too. Within in each type there will be a range of products best suited to you skin plus help restore its balance and health. We all lead busy lives and the environmental changes around us can have a massive impact on how we should go about treating certain complaints.

So the 4 Skin types and ranges they do are
Dry skin - Nourish Protect
Normal - Nourish Radiance
Sensitive skin - Nourish relax
Combination skin - Nourish Balance
Our Nourish Protect Skin Hero: Vitamin C
As one of nature's most effective antioxidants, Vitamin C helps protect the skin's structural proteins, collagen and elastin, from free-radical damage, ensuring your skin is firm, supple and resilient. Protect features a vitamin-rich extract from fresh, organic Sicilian lemons, bursting with goodness and vitality.

So with this in mind they offered me the Nourish Protect skincare system in a mini kit as pictured above to trial. If your only needing a particular product, you feel you need for your daily routine you can also buy them separately. So I'm of the Dry skin category and that means I'm Nourish Protect. Thats one of the beautiful things about these kits, as now i know once summer and the weather generally rises a few degrees, i notice my skins not as difficult to control. The mini kits are beautiful and so well presented. They encompass the vegan and natural ethos of the company so well with its design. Its very arty without being over the top on the front, plus the labels are straight and too the point of what its for and will do. I like that the nourish logo is simple plus the Protect range it has almost a citrusy smell.

Nourish Protect Mini Kit contents

So the Nourish protect range is made up of Carrot extract, Omega Shea butter and Vitamin E, Now it also says these ingredients act as natural anti-aging to soften the skin and help prevent further dehydration taking place. So the First step is Cleansing lotion which is made up of gentle emollients, packed full of water and lemon extract, which is why i could smell the citrus scent. Plus essential oils and also sunflower oils and orange scents too. Now this cleanser is lovely, i used it on a damp wipe and it really does break down the oils and hidden nasties on the skin you may have missed. Then i just take a cold cotton pad and lightly sweep my face again to remove any residue, not that i could feel any but its whats advised in the directions.

Cleanser

Then the next step is Toning with the Protect cooling Toning mist. Now toner closes the pores helps the prevention of build-up, Again with a citrus smell this light mist leaves an even coverage, i found one spray sufficient enough as the pump is very good. It really does find the contour of the face for that even layer of product. Now its to balance pH and for the preparation for moisturiser  and serums. I use this in the morning and night time regimes. As i find it very refreshing and it really wakes me up, plus seems to make my "eye bags" less prominent , Again similar ingredients to the cleanser.

Cooling Toning Mist

Here we move onto the Moisturiser which seems to be a very popular product indeed. Packed with Rose-hip, Orange and mandarin oils, this signature blend they say is full of natural anti-oxidents and will help protect the skin. Now i would say this is a really light cream and really all these products absorb so well and quickly into the skin. Im loving the scents of them all, as with some natural products i do find the scent a little over bearing. Then i cant enjoy the whole process of just unwinding down. So if your the same and want subtle scent then try these products as they are brilliantly balanced in scent too. I smell like a fresh lemon in hot water. Really lovely scents plus fresh and calming.

Nourish Moisture Protect

So finally in the Mini kit we have the Protect Replenishing peptide serum, which is again packed full of natural oils. It says its the perfect hydrator leaving the skin feeling nourished and protected. Now this is universal to all skin types. With the reason being that it retextures the skin and then gives it a rejuvenated look. Plus can be used as a protecting primer. Now i really like this Serum as you need 1 pump then i rub my fingers together and smoothed over the skin. Now it does spread really well and also i used a downward motion like all the primers i use to get a even finish. Now it does say apply a small amount to fingertip then dot around the face like you would apply foundation. Plus in hindsight i did think i maybe used a little too much with a full pump. So now that i know it should be used more sparingly so my makeup does not slide all over the place.

Replenishing Peptide Serum

So what do i think, well I love the Mini kit as its got a gentle, natural selection of products that i have fallen in love with especially the cleanser and the Serum. I cannot see the serum lasting me too long as i always use a primer, plus i would apply a little dot before bed to just keep my cheeks nicely hydrated.
The moisturiser is really good and absorbs well but when it comes to moisturisers i have to use them for ages and see noticeable difference. So i can say my skin is softer and it really has opened my eyes to the cleanser, as i own a tool to help cleanse my face. I don't like using it each night as it would just break me out from over-use. So this cleanser i can see the left over makeup and just nasties i thought i had removed. Plus it freshens you up in the morning combined with the mist.
So out of the whole kit i would repurchase the Mist toner, cleanser and most defiantly the serum. Its an affordable brand too, so i would defiantly repurchase the full sized items. Im forever needing primer plus this doubles as serum, The mist i think i could use as a cheaper version of a Fix plus (will be trying  that duo to see ) to close my pores again before makeup application, then poor cleanser would be called for to remove all this mess i create in look-book posts, so there is my rational to having full sized items.
So thank you nourish.

miamoo - Travel kit

So miamoo was thought of and made by Saira Khan whom you may recognise as a former Apprentice contestant. Herself suffering with effects of dry skin decided to do something about it. She did her home work then found many harsh chemicals in products were used to bulk up and help prolong the shelf life.  Realising her parent's had used essential oils on there skin and never seemed to break out or suffer in the same way her skin had done.
In her story she explained how she tried many high end brands of skincare on the market with little result even with all the promises promoted by them, then became aware when she came into contact with certain additives, she would become very dry and sensitive. Even as a child she would need steroidal treatment to help combat this.
Now there is a difference in having sensitive skin or sensitised skin.
Sensitive being that you naturally have some form of sensitivity to something however sensitised skin is when a person becomes sensitive to a particular environmental change, cosmetics, hygiene products or food additives etc which then leads to a skin reaction.

So miamoo ethos

...IS VERY SIMPLE: LESS IS MORE!

  • We aim to deliver high quality natural skincare products which protect  and heal dry skin conditions with outstanding results for all the family.

  • We want to be known as the brand that started the  “one range skincare for all the family” revolution.  We won’t ever create a product that  can’t be used by the whole family.
  • We want to be help our customers to save time, money and have less plastic bottles in their bathrooms
miamoo is made in the UK and is free from parabens, mineral oil, petroleum jellyand waxes, SLS, synthetic colour/fragrance and PEGS
  • 98.5 – 100% naturally derived skincare

  • Free from harsh ingredients such as Parabens, Petrochemicals, Sulphates Synthetic colours/fragrance, Triethanolamine (TEA), Diethanolamine (DEA), No PEGs, Sodium Lauryl Sulphate

  • Excellent for dry skin conditions like psoriasis and eczema

  • Can be used by pregnant mothers and also on baby from birth

So having set up and funding miamoo, then came sourcing the best produce and ingredients that work to help moisturise, calm and improve a dry or irritated skin.  Having seen her own parents using essential oils and then doing all the business essentials. Found a manufacture and chemist to make the formulations and Saira even went as far as using them herself to see if they would work for her. Saira also wanted the skin child safe and usable so no little one should ever have to suffer with dry or irritated skin.
miamoo website is now set up with the products that have been especially made for adults and children alike.
There are also helpful pages on
Plus and skincare for babies and children with tips for certain times in babies and childrens life where skin can become irritated. Same for adult skincare .
The site is well informed and goes into detail with why ingredients are added and there properties, plus what will help in a given season or need.

miamoo -Travel set

So i was kindly sent the travel set to review by miamoo, if you follow the link you can see it has a travel size of all the main products sold
Contents included
30ml - Splashy water
30ml- Fresh locks
30ml- Baba Oil
30ml- Huggy lotion
30ml- Spritz and wipe
30ml- Cheeky cream

The travel set comes in a clear blue zipper bag, with a card ring in the middle with the lovely logo plus a mini circular picture of Saima. Then on the back is all the product information. When removed the bag fits all the products perfectly with extra room where a muslin cloth has been added in.
This bag is perfect for mums to be hospital bags as both mother and baby can use the product but also if you want to try the brand to see if it suits your needs.
So this is the 3 step treatment within the travel set.

Splashy water and Fresh locks

I love the names of the products as they are unique plus i find them incredibly universal, mothers can use them for children and adults can use them also.
The fresh locks shampoo is lovely and you can smell the essential oils when using the product, its a light florally scent to me with hints of a lavender smell. Its incredibly light and with no harsh chemicals or additives you hair is left feeling so clean and soft, I also felt i needed only a little amount for my long hair as it seemed to really go far in the shower, My scalp can be sensitive to harsh shampoos so i tend to stick to the more natural based ones and i can say this is one i will be looking into. I wasn't itching after but was left with my hair feeling light, fresh and in good condition. I know coconut oils and nut oils are fabulous for hair so the almond oils they use must be a conditioner but in the sense of not needing to smother your hair with a thick layer then remove separately. Its just naturally cleaning and moisturising.
The splashy wash again was less scented and just was lovely to wash with, leaving me feeling very clean but not stripped of my skins own moisture. I sometimes dry myself then feel some products make me need to really grab a moisturiser as its almost cleaned me too well but not in a good way. This splashy wash i think is meant for a bath but i was happy to use it in the sink at nights or in the shower on the flannel provided to really protect my skin. It did thank me for it as my skins been so much happier this week, soaking emollients better and just I'm not worried of a reaction.

 Huggy lotion and Cheeky cream

Awww the cheeky cream and huggy lotion were my all time favourites in this travel set.
The cheeky cream is thick and smells lightly of what reminds me of camomile/sudocreams. I had this I'm my handbag and when i didn't go to an appointment it was next to my bed for use on my hands and nails. It soaks in really well but also doesn't make you feel like you need to reapply several times during the day. Its not a runny consistency its almost a mix of balm and cream. Really loved this product.
Huggy lotion was my all time love, a pump dispensing design container with a beautiful lotion inside. It was light and soaks into the skin beautifully. Its again not a heavy scented, they literally are light wafts of pleasurable smells, very natural. Its not over bearing as a lotion and was so quick and easy to apply that i used this at night, as i knew i would rub in and just be ready to jump into bed with no need to sit for 5 -10minutes waiting for absorption. Again my skin thanked me for this treat as it was very soft after application.

Baba oil with Spritz and wipe

Baba oil I've heard about and many good things have been said. Now i mainly only use an oil in my hair or my face during winter when I'm really suffering from dry skin. Now this oil i can smell the lavender infusion. Its again a light, absorbable oil which does not leave a heavy residue as some oils do. It can be used for baby massage and again for adults who like using oils to infuse the skin with some extra help plus its extremely calming because of the lavender. I preferred using this at night as a light use of this just made me feel relaxed and sleep very well. So while this is not a daily essential for me its nice when I'm struggling to sleep to help relax me, i would say this is a perfect product for mothers and babies who are doing massage plus increasing that bond.

Spritz and cleanse i used as my makeup remover plus also i gave a quick spritz before i started the daily applications of all my makeup. As its infused with minerals plus feels light and fresh, has a citrus smell which again i could only pick up hints of as i can smell the oils more. They are so moisturising and was very pleasant to use. It can also be used as a cooling spray. Which in summer is a lovely idea as some just are water based but this will actually help to add moisture your skin looses in the sun with the mineral infusion.

Im so impressed with the travel kit, i think it offers a real insight into the quality of the products miamoo has to offer but also they are presented beautifully. The addition of the flannel made this a perfect set as you had everything you needed for every step to a fluent and cohesive skincare routine. Its wonderful for sensitive skin, absorbs well plus can be used if you have small children or babies Which is brilliant as then saves on the need of multiples of products for each family member when this can be used buy all the family. This would make a perfect gift for a mother expecting or even someone whom is going to hospital and struggles to find travel sized sensitive skin based products. I will be investing in one for when i go into hospital at the end of summer as its got everything i will need.
So thank you miamoo for allowing me to review such a beautiful product.
