Wet n Wild : New 2016 Eyeliner

I have really grown to love Wet & Wild product's over the year's. My amazing USA friend's send me over products that they think il enjoy. So far it's been the majority of them, with the facial powder's and eyeshadows being by far the most impressive. The new liquid Eyeliner released for spring by Wet and wild is my newest review.

They say :
This eyeliner is in the form of a convenient marker with its soft felt tip lets you write on your eyes however you'd like. So go ahead pen your next great statement.

This liquid liner comes in 2 thicknesses and some variation's in colour. I tend to steer more toward's the thinner liner pen, as i find it offers me greater control. This liner does offer me great control and so far with a few uses, has served me well. I must admit I have to to go slower with this liner, then my usual brand.
This is very pigmented yet must be given time to dry as it can become sticky, if you keep adding layers. I will continue using this liner as for the price, it holds up as a great alternative for when you are saving. I would advise also if using a cream eyeshadow that you clean the tip of the brush, it help's for better application. Overall im really impressed with this eyeliner and also Wet n wild product's that i own. I would love to start a 1 brand only makeup look via my Instagram and listing products here.

Makeup revolution

Is a UK brand known for affordable and pigmented makeup. With there vast range of cosmetics, anything can be afforded for any look to be achieved. I cant wait to try these new additions to the makeup revolution collection.

They say :
Makeup Revolution launched in London in March 2014 delivering revolutionary performance and quality, in every product at revolutionary prices. Made with the finest ingredients, the range starts at an amazing £1, with a range of professional and must have products with limited edition collections – you can finally afford them all.
"I love chocolate" palette

Life is a box of…. Pick and mix for your eyes. You will want to try EVERY chocolate in the box! Mixture of mattes and shimmers.

(Left pic:Top row & middle 4 from L, Right pic:last middle 2 & Bottom row)

So as you can see from the above swatches, the pigmentation is fantastic. The rich chocolate shades are complemented with additional shades of gold's, pink's and cream's. So many looks can be achieved with this palette. To either give shimmer to a night look or a flash of colour for a day wear. This palette is so versitile and enriching for eyes of all colours. Also the cream's can be used as a highlight for the cheeks. So you have alot in the palette, especially if your wishing to keep a travel bag light.

The shadows are light and blend easily, the above swatches are without primer. With primer they last all day with no creasing or fading. I used this palettefor christmas as it to me had so many options. It was hard to go with just one look. So i think i will have to showcase combinations of some looks each week. I would highly recommend this palette, for anyone needing some beautiful creamy neutral colours. I will be looking into buying more palettes to try.

The One Fluid blush - Desire

The Most Natural flush finish Blush Fanatics Rejoice, affordable Blush Perfection is here. The most amazing feel & finish, budge-proof and water resistant. Bringing instant radiance & illumination to your skin. Using Our Silicone based, Oil free Technology. This unique Fluid-technology will suit all skin types and avoids blocking pores. Blends Easily and You can Keep Building to suit your desired look.

This blush is amazing and the pigmentation is just so intense. You need to give the bottle a good shake prior to application. This ensures any shimmer is evenly distributed and also the colour. You only need the tiniest of drops to obtain such colour. It can be dotted onto the cheek and buffed out, or you can use the back of your hand. Either way the liquid is very fluid which makes it easy to buff into the skin to give a beautiful colour. I found it was very easy to blend and work into my contour. I found when i applied my powder highlight, this gave enough setting to not need a translucent powder. Again i cant fault this blush and it will last a very long time. Brilliant value.

The One blush stick - Malibu

Awesome Chucks of Our Finest Blusher in a Stick. Introducing the One Blush Stick, 4 Bold shades and 4 Matte Shades. Use strong and vibrant, or sheer. Designed for multiple use across Cheeks and Lips, use Dry for Hi-Intensity Colour or apply Wet for a smooth sheer finish.

Now i found this the ultimate versitile product. With many shades available for blush and lips, i wanted to try malibu to see how many uses i could achieve. The one use i did want this shade for, was as a easy to apply contour. To just apply a line and then buff in easily, i would do this with my cheek and jaw bones. I found this was very creamy and applied with such ease. Then using my angled powder brush i did strokes with very little product to obtain that sharp contour. Then using my powder brush using the left over translucent powder, do some circular buffing to set the cream in place. This again would be for my jaw line.

I also would use this under my foundation to define even further if i needed too. Its so beautiful as a contour, also on a buffing brush can give a real bronzing glow of colour. Also i found if i took a little on a flat eyeshadow brush, it could be a lovely primer especially if paired with the "I love chocolate" palette. So this product is really versatile, im sure it could be used for many more uses.

Eyeliner in "Lustful ways"

Smudge proof eyelinerPerfect line and intense pigment which is soft & creamy to apply. Long Wearing and smudge-proof with a luxurious formula.

This beautiful eyeliner is an amazing green with an almost khaki hint to it. Application is so creamy and does not drag along lash line or waterline. It makes green eyes pop intensely and is a long wearing eyeliner that is so affordable. I will be looking into more colours to purchase.

Makeup revolution has really impressed me with these products and i will be going back for seconds. They are affordable and also high quality. Each product has been well thought out for its use and can be versatile too if need be. The eyeshadows are of high quality being pigmented and soft with little fallout. The blush sticks and fluids are pigmented and can be used for more then one use on the facial area. The products are just so exciting that i am going to be trying more from them to expand my looks using there products. Above is using the products for my Christmas day look.

If you have any Makeup revolution recommendations, please leave them in the comment's

PUSH cosmetics

I really enjoy using PUSH make-up's lipgloss quad. So to use their black eyeliner, which is a staple product in my makeup bag. Then try a new beautifully pigmented red lipstick, called Vixen. I cant wait to show you the quality of this lovely brand.

Gel eyeliner in Black caviar
Smoky eye in seconds, our gel pencils glide onto the eye. Use in the waterline or lid. Easy to smudge and blend
Tip : always put your lid back on when finished to stop gel pencil drying out , however if this happen just pair it down for a fresh gel tip

This stunning black eyeliner with the pencil casing feeling slightly texturised. It gives the pencil extra grip on application. Extremely creamy pencil that looks and applies like a gel formula. When it dries it doesnt smudge, then can be removed with a makeup remover. Im so impressed with this eyeliner that i would buy other colours. As a eyeliner that stays on the waterline is hard to find, also to tightline quickly with no irritation.
Impressive creamy, highly pigmented eyeliner. Its a fantastic eyeliner for your collection.

Lipstick in Vixen (375)
Silky rich pigmented lipstick. New beautiful deep red colour to add to your collection. In a stunning black packaging with the PUSH logo visable on the lid.

So now we move onto the beautiful lipstick. Which is aptly named "Vixen", given that it is a radiant red that the eyeis immediately drawn too. It makes the lips plump looking, to be the main feature of any look you do. It is a highly pigmented and creamy lipstick. As its so rich in pigment, I advise using clear lip liner or your concealer to make a sharp crisp finish. (I would do this step with any red shade of lipstick). The lipstick formula is a well presented and feels lovely on the lips. Even when blotted it still radiates the rich red colour.

I loved using both products from PUSH. As you can see from the look i achieved, the colours are vibrant on application. Give a beautiful finish and can really make some excellent looks. The lipstick as you can see is a beautiful colour. Then the eyeliner you can see is a dark decedent black, with no sign of being watery on the waterline. So you can be confident with these two PUSH editions.

Eye of Horus - Scarab Sapphire Goddess pencil

Eye of horus is a beautiful brand from Australia. Its ideal for those with sensitive eyes, especially if your looking for a eye kohl. The new shade of goddess pencil is available and it is a stunning shade.

They say :
We are an Australian owned company who is committed, in Awakening the Goddess in every women. We are all beautiful no matter what age. No matter where we have come from or what our life story is.

Our products are not tested on animals and we deliver only the best. All our cosmetics are Paraben Free, and contain as much natural content as possible, balancing organics with the highest effectiveness we are renowned for.

Representing regeneration, health and protection, the ancient Egyptian Symbol of the Eye of Horus ensures healing, wisdom and prosperity to its bearer. The ancients used the most precious waxes and oils in their iconic eye makeup, including: Beeswax, Ricebran Wax, Canauba, Candellia, and Jojoba waxes and Almond.

Scarab sapphire review

So firstly this colour "Scarab sapphire" is stunning. It has a deep blue with an undertone of purple. Almost microglittlers when you see it applied. The creamy and  soft pencil gives a clean and comfortable application. It applies to the waterline really well and is a beautiful colour payoff.

There are pictures showing the pencils can be buffed out, then apply eyeshadow on top. I would love to try blending out the colour to look beautiful, especially with a taupe, silver and grey. This would be  a lovely duo chrome effect, as its so jewel toned that you won't need to use a shimmer. Plus with it being blended it can be used during the day, with neutral eyeshadow shades on top. The pop of fall colour will come through with this beautiful jewel base.

I have used the goddess pencil in the waterline for my look. I feel it makes the blue hues in the eyeshadow really stand out. The goddess line of eye pencils are so impressive, if you struggle to find sensitive eyeliner then look no further. I love the goddess pencils that i own and i cannot wait for the eyeshadow palettes to come to the UK. Its the most exciting makeup line, i look forward to new items coming out as the quality is exquisite. The natural makeup from Eye of Horus is excellent and i do encourage anyone looking for a natural line to try them.

Have you tried any Eye of Horus products ?

BeautyUK - New CC cream, Pressed powder, palette in amazon

As we have seen this year has brought with it amazing drugstore makeup. Continually pushing the boundaries and improving formulas to give women more choice and to ensure that quality is the main aspect when it comes to products. I've once again been given the amazing opportunity to review for BeautyUK, whom are an affordable and one of those companies bringing quality to the table.

They say
CC Cream - Lightweight, hydrating and colour correcting cream that will keep your skin safe under the sun with an impressive SPF 30! Contains light reflecting pigments that illuminate the skin to give a radiant and flawless complexion.  Incredible performance at a fraction of the price of other CC creams on the market.

Compact face powder - Achieve lightweight, enhanced coverage from this must have compact powder. Presented in a gorgeous glossy black case with flip lid, large mirror and applicator puff.

Eyeshadow/Gel liner palette in (2 Amazon) - WINNER! - Best New Eye Product 2011 at the Pure Beauty awards in London. Everything you could want in a palette! A collection of our 6 intensely pigmented shades and 2 gel-based liners - More precise than a pencil, more forgiving than a liquid, this super-smooth formula offers more control, play time, and build-able coverage than your average liner

So firstly I was sent the new CC cream and (numb.2) Amazon palette. The powder I bought myself plus another amazon palette for my sister in law.

Lets start with the packaging, I like BeautyUK's style with packaging. The black and white keeps it simple on the compact, whilst the CC cream is a simple concept but looks impressive. It certainly does not give the impression they have comprised the packaging for quality products, in my opinion.

The CC cream is SPF 30 which is fabulous for those of you whom are jetting to hot countries as autumn descends. I'm in the colour 10 natural and that's the only downside to the product is the colour spectrum. Now that's not just BeautyUK that's all makeup brands.

So the coverage is light whilst being hydrating and it gives a nice healthy glow, does even out minor skin tones issues. I just needed a little more tapped on my birth mark area, then all was even.
I actually would say this is a CC cream I would use when it's a daily for light coverage.

Now the powder again is number 1 to go with the fair shade. I would love for companies just to have a page chart. So I can just look for my skin tone, then look on that line. What CC cream, powder, foundation and concealer etc shade is
best suited for me.(*not just BeautyUK all brands)

Anyways the powder is soft and buttery which threw me a bit, as there was no wastage. It all was on my brush lightly tapped the excess. It is lightweight with a powder puff. Personally i dont use them at home, I love my RT powder brush. I do however leave it in the powder for touch ups when I'm at the hospital.  It's soft on application plus it doesn't highlight blemishes or go cakey on the dry areas. So highly impressed with this powder.

Now to the eyeshadow/gel-liner palette in Amazon (2) award winning. I have used the posh palette and shadow palette in glitz, which are highly pigmented plus they offer exceptional quality. So the colours in the Amazon palette are again pigmented, easily blend-able plus don't give much fall out considering there are some pretty shimmer shades. Even the white shadow which in most palettes is quite a find. This will bring out all the shades in the palette brighter if a light layer of white is applied, plus a great highlight for the inner eye.
Again the shadows are amazing pigment for the price and also the top layer is by far my favourite combination. However I have used the coral colour on my lid, taken the top middle gold from the tear duct then blended this with the coral. Then use the smallest brush and add the black for the smokey and defined finish to the eye.

Eyeshadow with the dark liner pressed with an angled brush in a thin liner

Now the one odd thing is the liners look navy and brown. I saw the blue liner, payoff on colour is again excellent and true to the palette. It's a drier formula so if you prefer liquid, then I would suggest using a damp brush or mix medium to make it more liquid. Then to make sure the colour is intense, set the liner with a powder of the liners colour.
Now you come to the brown and when I swatches it, I expected a dark chocolate brown. Instead under the brown lawyer was a dark mix colour of the brown, navy and black. I liked it as the colours all tie together with the shadows in the pan.

The CC Cream and Powder Coverage

Overall I really liked the CC Crean with the compact as it gave a nice finish and felt nice on the skin. My eye look was  I found to be easy to achieve, as the palette makes it easy to choose and blend a combination. Mix of matte and shimmer but no fallout so I was impressed.
The liner however was hard to apply with the brush included (used it to see if it was good). It wasn't and very scratchy so I went back to my brushes and found it to apply like a dream. It is a dryish formula to apply. However I'm not sure if I could use a mixing medium to make it softer to
work with.

Sigma - Resort palette

Sigma is a brand well known for its brushes and until now I've known of a few palettes and the eyeshadows being released. I even had my eye one the Paris palette they released which was a collaboration with beauty bloggers. Plus a new one in collaboration with TiffianyD, however i love this  Resort palette as it just screams Summer to you.

They say :

The Sigma Beauty Limited Edition Resort Palette contains a collection of high-quality and pigmented makeup products including eight eye shadows, one blush, one liquid highlighter and one dual-ended eye liner pencil. Rich, warm tones complement vibrant ocean-like hues in this unique palette ideal for creating your own oasis.

However the one palette I've heard of and seen many reviews via YouTube on is the resort palette. With its 8 beautiful eyeshadows, Heavenly blusher, tube if liquid gold highlight and duel ended eyepencil this was a real bargain of a palette. I do wish that it came wrapped like it was in America with the flower garland and reall holiday feeling.  I was just extremely happy to be able to purchase this in the UK on cloud 10 beauty website.

So as you can see the colours of the palette are very summery and give the tropical feeling especially with Midori and Papaya. I cannot wait to do lookbook with this and feeling that this palette will be the one I use for my earth goddess look.

Now I used the gold already with my fire goddess as the highlight and this works really well that I needed very little plus its just beautiful as you can see in the swatch above.
The duel ended pencil is of excellent quality being pigmented and also very soft butter consistency.

Swatches
Going in order left to right as on the palette plus Midori is on the bottom right next to the Heavenly blush (Sorry ran out of room as so pigmented)

More up close in depth look

I love this palette as the quality I know is always raved about sigma brushes, however I do think the quality of the palettes are improving. This offered so much quality with the highlight, duel ended pencil plus blush to included. Its a whole travel palette made for holiday and I love it.
The swatches show the pigmentation and I will be keeping my eye out for further releases via Cloud10 beauty online. Also offer a loyalty scheme if you purchase and collect towards items. I'm hoping to save towards my first Sigma brush set. This was limited edition and apologies it took so long to release the review.

Helen E cosmetics

My passion is about building confidence and my plan is to convert the nation to Helen É. My make-up is good for all ages and skin tones, for everyone... everyday!
Helen Elowe, Founder and Managing Director
-
Helen - E cosmetics are well known at the moment for alot of glossybox subscribers whom may have had the nice surprise of a product this month.
I have already used and love my Helen-E eye pencils as they are smooth and pigmented.
So I was so happy to be given a chance to review some more of the range.

The eye lights pen is a brightener and takes a fair few clicks to get product to show. It is quite a liquidy highlight and can tend to need alot to be seen but used in the right place. It's too liquidy and transparent for me so i did not find this effective at all. I would not purchase this on use as it didn't make my dark circles or bags any less noticeable. As you can see below the consistency and the very pink toned liquid. Now I don't know if its because I'm cool toned this isn't working as I would need a more yellow based concealer to balance out the greyness. However i do know a pink toned highlight is better as works more in favour of getting rid of grey so i think this is a product i need to work with more and maybe my bags are just a bit beyond and need heavy duty polyfiller.

Next was the Eye primer and this I love, it reminds me of Mac's paint pot in soft oche/painterly and totally gives a skin toned flesh base look that was brilliant. I have some red and blue veins as most of us do on my lid and this made my lid one consistsant colour. I only needed a dot (the one above would be 4-5 applications  easily) it literally is a dab on your finger then blends in like a dream.
I found it took the packing of eyeshadow on very well and also I liked that it didn't dry quick so I could use this for really intense looks and will be using this in next weeks IMATS inspired looks to really get an amazing base. I would repurchase this product and also look if more shades are available.

So with the Oil free compact it is a creamy and although looks very dark in the compact blends out to a really nice coverage. I still will need to warm my skin a little with a touch of facial tan and use this within some makeup looks I'm doing this week. As I'm very eager to use this compact and i think it will give a heavenly base for some of the looks i have planned to showcase for IMAT's.

The love blush is a pressed powder and it has a warm tone to it, very soft and easily blend able this powder is very sheer and hardly noticeable to touch however it is pigmented so a light hand is needed if of a pale complextion. Easily blend able I found this to be the perfect powder when I needed a little light colour and warmth to my cool toned skin. It can easily multi task to a blush or bronzer given is warm light dusky pink tone. I would be able to use this very lightly to give a warm glow and not need much or any facial makeup for a very natural summer look. Very impressed with the feel and nature of this powders capabilities.

I have put the eyeliner in grey above I have used and also the lipstick on to show the amazing pigment. It's a rich deep red on the lips and less orange looking then in the tubes picture. It's in the shade Vegas and I really love this. It's a compact tube plus it makes the lips look plump and heathy. Not drying at all and it didn't make my lips look dry, considering red can be pretty unforgiving.
They grey eyeliner is very soft and applies well too the upper eyelids as well as the bottom with no dragging or scratchy feeling.  Blends out if you don't want a harsh line but also is a nice finish to a smokey eye look and can make the black pop.

I'm really surprised by the quality in general of Helen-E cosmetics. The blush powder is a buttery cream feeling powder with easy blend ability and pigment, so its great value plus the compact is really classy looking. I love the eye primer as a base and also the eyeliner which I found rich and pigmented, as was the lipstick. I only found a problem with the eye lights which was far to pink and loose consistency for me to see any evident difference.
I will be using a bit of tan to showcase the oil free makeup better in a look as I really think this creamy base will be amazing at giving a great coverage and it feels light when I have tried it in my hand. So I think with summer this will be a fantastic one stop compact for a hydrating coverage and lack of oil so it won't slide on oily skins. Yet its creamy enough for normal/combo and dry skins.

So I will do my next look with this compact to show coverage. Plus also Helen-E supports cancer research UK and there brand ambassador Katrina is below with a bit more about her and how she came to be the face of the brand.
